>>KimmyCity – Hey guys, so today I wanted to go over
some of the products that I got in the mail today. They’re all,
well mostly brushes all except one. I wanted to try some of the elf brushes
because Ive heard so much about the brand. And Ive never tried elf products
before until about two weeks. I purchased the elf eyebrow kit
because Ive heard a lot of the beauty gurus on YouTube talk about how its
their favorite eyebrow kit and so I kind of wanted to try it for myself
and I also purchased the creamy midnight blue eyeliner at Target,
which was the first time I’ve ever seen elf products before I went
to target. I wanted to try some of their brushes, so I guess I’ll jump right in.
Since this is the closest one, the first item I got was the
smudge eye sponge and it was 1808 by elf. If you’ve ever purchased a makeup product
for smokey eye you will have this sponge at the end and that’s so you can smudge
you eye pencil and smudge it up. My really good friend danielleis amakeup artist
and when she was showing how to do the smokey eye. She finally showed me how
to do it. You take your dark eye pencil and you go about a quarter
way and you don’t have to be neat abou it. You kind of do a quarter way up your lid
and you smudge about half way or three quarters and blend it up after you do that
you take your dark eye shadow with a blending brush and you blend up. You will already have
dark liner on the bottom but just line with the dark shadow and blend up. Smudge sponge,
dark pencil, dark eyeshadow and blending brush is all you need for a
smokey eye. It was only 1.50. the next product I got was the
Kabuki brush, and ive never heard of kabuki before probably because I’m
just a makeup noob, but its for wet and dry powder and here I will show.
I guess I will just take it out. I will read the description. The
Taklon brush can be used with wet or dry products to create a professional look.
Flawless with the studio brush that creates and photo finish. Its for a lot of different
things. This was one of the most expensive brushes
that I got and it kind of reminds me of a lucky rabbits foot. I will do another
review after I try it. There wasn’t really a number on here.
The next brush I got was a powder brush
and I remember this one having really awesome reviews. All 5 start reviews.
This brush is shaped a little differently and it’s a little flat on the top and this
brush says it can be used wet or dry, full coverage cover and for powder or brush.
The next brush I got was the blush brush from elf and this one is a bit smaller it kind
of looks like a foundation brush and its for
blush or bronzer. I think that’s all I have to say abou that one, so that was the blush
brush. The other prodct I got
was the luscious liquid lipstick its 2111 and
its just lipstick in a tube I haven’t tried it you and I will try and let you guys know
in a about a week. I feel like a week is about a good time range. The next thing
I got was the high definition powder in sheer and I didn’t really see any other
types of colors, but this one masks the fine lines for great complection. If you’ve
ever been to CVS and see their photo finish produts its like that and its about this big.
It says high definition powder on the front and it comes with sponge.
I cant really take any of the powder out. Its just like the photofinish powder at CVS.
I guess you just shake a little out and that’s the elf high definition powder
in sheer and its number 2018 in sheer the last thing I got was not an elf product.
It says that its limited edition and comes with 4 kabuki brushes.
This one
is to conceal, contour, bronze, buff.
