Alright. So... I've just received
this wonderful thing in the mail
and decided I should probably make a video opening it
because I don't normally receive
special edition
3DSes or anything of the sort.
So I'm going to unbox this
on the camera
in what is probably the first and only video to ever be published, if it even
is published.
So, y'know, it's a pretty nice box. Animal crossing information...
Got your regular pre-installed stuff here.
Y'know ninety percent larger screens, all that junk. Safety information, french and
english because it's in Canada. I've got an exacto-knife here.
Good for packing and moving.
It's actually what I used while I was moving in here... Alright.
If I could possibly close it again... Ah well.
So let's open this puppy up.
...if I can. I'm really horrible at opening boxes sometimes. But you know...
I might not have taken off all of the tape.
No I think I did.
Ah, there we go.
So let's just open this up.
Alright.
Alright, so you've got your basic package here.
I'm assuming there isn't a manual for the
game itself since they don't really do the physical manuals that much these days.
You've got the basic set of AR cards, I'm assuming.
There we go. So let's see... Yeah, yup.
All the same as usual.
We'll just put that aside.
Got your Club Nintendo code, which I will be inputting before this get online,
so no need to try. You've got your quickstart guide,
got it in french,
and of course in spanish.
I can't read spanish, though.
But y'know. It's good to have.
And, of course, nintendo 3DS XL guidebook.
Which is pretty thick, just like the regular 3DS guidebook,
if I am remembering correctly.
So now we move on to the actual exciting part.
If i could just figure it out...
First there is, of course, the charging cable.
Pretty usual. Nothing different about it as far as I can tell.
Let's put that in the corner, there.
Looks like this comes off or something.
I'm not entirely sure how this works. In any case
this is all that should be left.
Which is the console itself.
So let's just take this out.
Ah, yes.
So that
is pretty darn amazing.
This wonderful thing;
it is pretty much the size of my hand,
which is always fun for a console's...
main size.
Opening it up.
Feels pretty smooth.
It's got the hinges... Yeah.
Alright.
Got the
stylus on the side, which I always enjoyed
for the DS Lite.
Pretty nice stylus.
Let's get around to turning this thing on
and seeing how it works.
Of course I will have to transfer
my save data and all that from my
regular black 3DS, but you know,
it is still very, very nice.
Alright, so I am going to select english,
because that is my
usual language for video games.
I'm really enjoying these buttons down here. They look super nice.
Oh, yes.
They press super nice as well.
I really didn't enjoy that much on the regular 3DS.
Not being able to
press the buttons as easily as I would like,
because
it was not that easy.
Alright. So let's see.
I really hate having everything super tiny all the time.
What is that?
Oh, Dinosaur Office. Ok.
So...
Yeah, that's about it. Um...
Thanks for joining me,
I hope you enjoyed this unboxing
of this wonderful
limited edition
3DS XL.
This is actually my first 3DS XL so I am very glad that it is one that
I am going to enjoy flaunting
to everyone I know.
So y'know.
Have a good one. Keep on...
being pretty great,
or whatever it is you want to do.
Have a good one.
