Sophomore/junior year I was getting letters from Augustana,
and I wasn't really big on it. I just remember that
all the brochures had an A on it. After a while I
took a visit here, came to campus, and fell in love with. I'm in the orchestra and I play the
the cello,
which I got a scholarship for. Then I got into the music
program, and I was trying to figure out if I could do music as well as football.
And the people here are just great.
It was just amazing, they worked everything out for me,
like with the scheduling for football and
music, doing two things I love. It's tough to actually get it all cheduled out. But
once get into the movement of it
it's pretty easy, you enjoy yourself. That's another big thing is the diversity here.
They open up to new things, knowing new things and stuff like that.
Something that my city and my high school didn't have.
When I came in, I was thinking engineering and physics
because I love math and physics, but
given to the liberal arts format of it, it's actually
opened my eyes to bigger things and bigger opportunities.
I'm not totally positive on what I really want to do
but still I want to go into mathematics, but I
might even minor in something. I'm still not too sure, but I'm going to go through all the
perspectives and see which one I really like.
I don't really dread moments, I actually looking forward to it
because it's going to make me a better person. And when I do fail, I'm going to come back stronger.
It's going to be a struggle, but it's fun. I love colleges,
I love it here more specifically.
