Finding course reserves is not as difficult as you think. Course reserves are easy to find and found directly on the University Libraries homepage.
Let's get started!
The University Libraries homepage is found at libraries.psu.edu.
To streamline your research process, be sure to sign in to your library account or psu account before accessing library materials
To access the course reserves for your class, click on the Course Reserves tab located in the blue search box.
From here you can use the drop down menu to search by course number, instructor, or course name.
We recommend searching by course number or instructor for the most accurate results.
Today we will search by course number. Type in your course number and click search.
This will bring you to the reserve search results page. If there is a more than one instructor for the course, a list of instructors will be visible.
Click your specific instructor to view a list of all items on reserve for your course. From this page, locate the article or e-book you are looking for and click on the title.
From the item details, click on the full-text hyper-link located under online content. This link will direct you to the items location or database.
For this example, the link brought us to the database of the article.
On this page you will find the abstract and full-text of the article, as well as citation information.
To view the article in PDF format, click the Full text PDF link located in the grey toolbox on the right hand side of the page.
