G'day everyone and welcome to another Wasabicars video, and this one is damn
special.
Very, very special. So, this is not a Nissan Skyline,
it is a Prince
Skyline GT.
And, the Prince Skyline GT evolved into the skyline,
the "Hakosuka" Skyline, so it's a pretty special car.
it's a 1965 and the condition is freaking spectacular.
I mean certainly the outside is (uh...) stunning
as in it has been restored. But, you know, when you look
a bit closer, it looks to be, you know,
be a little bit rough here and there.
The engine,
There you go, look at that. Damn. Single overhead cam
and uh... triple Webers. Always when I see triple carburettors
in the Japanese car, I always think to myself, Ah! They are Webers.
uh... usually this Solex.
But, these are Webers. Carburettor. Weber.
So, there you go. And, the condition is just amazing.
Black painted wheels.
Chrome
uh... wheel nuts,
Skylines GT.
We can have a look inside. The guy motioned me,
I'm welcome to have a good look at it. Which is very generous. The guys here at Fujitsubo
always always helping out, letting us
make movies and take photos. They've got no dramas at all.
Not an issue at all.
Prince 2000, so that's the back of the car.
Okay, well let's check it out inside.
That's the interior.
A really thin,
Wow. A real wooden steeling wheel.
Eighty five thousand K's on the clock.
It's got "old car" smell. It really has.
Not in a bad way. It's good. Sorta smells petroly,
oily or something.
Gee, look at that.
really nice texture
yeah
okay guys will you go
What else can I say?
I feel I'm pretty lucky to see this one.
Talk about Japanese
automotive history. Gee.
So, there you go guys. Prince 2000.
Prince Syline GT
Well, I consider myself pretty lucky
and we'll leave it there.
So, thanks a lot guys. Take it easy.
