- The Teacher's Book allows the teacher to really get what is the purpose of this work.
This is the vision we can have, and which allow children to create, re create
and the teacher to make a connection with other activities and other knowledge areas.
This book allows the teacher to go beyond his day-by-day classroom work.
Now we are going to start a tour through the Linhas da Vida Collection.
We are going to know the Teacher's Book and how it supports the Workbook.
For each serie of the collection, we prepared a Teacher's Book rich in suggestions and informations.
The material suggests, informs, explains, guides with theoretical basis and up-to-dated bibliography.
See some highlights on the book pages:
ORGANIC EDUCATION
At the first pages, the teacher finds a consistent presentation on the Organic Education principles
which are the basis for the didactic materials produced by AHOM.
In Reference Matrix, it is possible to verify the pages that cover the Organic Education principles.
LINHAS DA VIDA COLLECTION AND IMAGE READING
Still at the first pages, the goals and the structure of the Linhas da Vida Collection are identified and described.
There's also a theoretical text and an interview with the image book author, Rogério Coelho,
approaching the importance of image reading in actual world.
EYE EDUCATION
The Teacher's Book helps the teacher in specific activities which are focused on eye education.
Works of art are highlighted on the workbook pages and are explored in details on Teacher's book.
MUSIC BOOKLET
In the Workbook, the students work with the lyrics of an unpublished song inspired by the image book story.
In the Teacher's Book, the teacher finds this music sheet, besides the information on each instrument used in the song.
KNOWLEDGE COMPREHENSIVENESS FIELDS
Essential knowledge are approached through reading and study of different languages, genres and works of art.
To help the teacher, the Teacher's Book shows in which pages it is possible to find
reading, oral language, writing, art language, mathematics, history,
geographic, and natural science activities.
These were just a few examples. The Teacher's Book is full of suggestions for practical experiences in classroom.
After all, the success of materials reckon on the teacher's work with the students
and the Teacher's Book is, doubtless, an important ally.
