>> We're offering a free archery range experience for everyone
nine and older. We had an 83 year old yesterday.
Had a great time. This is about archery how it's
very fun and it's very active sport.
Anybody can do it at any age. And then talk about it, don't be
scared about something that isn't scary.
>> It will be easy until it gets harder.
>> We get here every year and we enjoy it a lot.
>> Are you getting better? >> No, unfortunately.
>> How are you to really be the best that you can at something
without depending on everybody else.
You're the only one that's out there doing this sport.
You get all the components correct and the arrow goes into
the bullseye. What could be better than that.
>> Put your fingers underneath the arrow.
>> If you're not experienced you have volunteers on the line with
you and they will teach you everything.
>> Once you draw back, both eyes open, put this part of your hand
down at the 6:00 position on the red.
And just let go and you got a bull's eye.
>> Wow. >> God, I love this sport.
All right, same thing. You come back, bring your elbow
all the way back, both eyes open and just let go.
Right on. >> That's terrific.
>> Good job. >> I've been writing down some
success stories from people last year.
They said because of this event they now have their own bow and
are shooting at different events and even advanced to actually go
hunting. It's been really fun and when
archery experience has changed. >> What I see what it and is
that especially the girls, it puts them on a level where they
have confidence and they know they can stand toe to toe with
the boys. Competing with them, they're on
the same line they're shooting the same targets, shooting
basically the same equipment. And this gives them a level of
achievement that in some of the sports, some of these kids are
never going to get. Good job, look right at it and
let go. Bull's eye.
In fact it's two bull's eye. I like that.
>> I just think it's fun, it's easy.
It keeps me entertained. >> I've been wanting a bow for
the last two Chris must. -- Christmases.
This may be the one. >> Good job.
>> We do it in very caring nurturing type of ways where
they have fairly good success on it.
You can't put a dollar value on this.
