Why do I have long hairs around my ***? I'm not supposed to have these.
If you were a guy, I’d say they’re just stray chest hairs.
Women aren’t supposed to have chest hairs. That’s why bearded women were the stars
of circus freak shows.
Women are still covered with a fine layer of hair. Sometimes you get a stray one that
grows too long.
This is more than one. It’s like my body is trying to grow some chest hair around my
nipples, and it is weird.
That would look awkward sticking out around your bra. Don’t worry, it isn’t weird.
Oh, yes, it is. Only men should wax their chests.
Around a third of all women have a few hairs around their nipples. And you don’t have
to wax it.
I have to get rid of it.
Just pluck them. But do it after you shower so that it hurts less.
I know hot water makes the pores open up.
On the upside, chest hair grows slower than head hair. So if you pluck it, it shouldn’t
come back for two to four weeks.
Is this a sign that my testosterone is too high?
Maybe, but you can ask the doctor to do a hormone level check.
You said it is genetic, but my mother never talked about this despite all the times we
had the talk.
Hair on the nipples is more common among Eastern European women and Asians.
I wonder if that’s the source of the myth of the hairy Scandinavians.
That’s more because they don’t shave under their arms or their legs.
How can I get rid of it?
You can use razors, wax or tweezing. Or go high tech and have laser hair removal.
As long as I can wear a bikini afterward, let’s go.
