Good Evening, I'm Damon Poole With A Look At Your Four-Warn Forecast For Tonight. We
Do Have Widely Scattered Showers Continuing To Diminish As The Day Has Progressed. Mostly
Cloudy Skies Have Been The Rule Across The State..With A Few Severe Thunderstorms Noted
Over The Western Part Of The State Early This Morning..But The Main Effect Has Been Our
Temperatures During The Day..Generally Staying In The Low To Mid 70's. There Are A Few Exceptions,
We Do Have 79 Up At Harrison, But Generally We Range From 72 At Searcy And Stuttgart To
82 Degrees Back Here At Texarkana. Now, Looking At Lows Tonight, We'll Generally
Be In A Warm And Moist Environment And That Will Help Keep Us Staying Warm..Mostly In
The 60's For Overnight Lows Tonight..And For Your Wednesday, We'll See The Humidity Increase
With Temperatures Going Up Into The 80's As A Warm Front Moves Through.
Now, Looking At Four-Warn National Satellite, You Can See The Low Pressure System In The
Plains Ejecting The Disturbances Out Very Clearly, By The Bright White Clouds That Move
Into The Western Part Of The State Early This Morning, And, We Can See That Again On The
Four-Warn National Radar Here In Just A Second, And, You'll Be Able To See The Precipitation
Gradually Diminish As It Has Continued This Afternoon, And, A Few Showers Will Be Lingering
Tonight, But Generally Will Be A Dry Day Tomorrow. Now, The Culprit Behind All This Is This Low
Back Up Over Colorado At The Moment, And, A Lingering Warm Front, Which Is Currently
Going From The Low In Colorado, Across Northeast Oklahoma, Into The Monroe-Baton Rouge Area
Of Louisiana. That Will Be Moving Across Us During The Day Tomorrow..Setting Us Up With
Southerly Winds From The Gulf, Bringing Warm, Moist, And Increasingly Unstable Air. That
Will Prime The Pump For This Front To Come Through For Your Thursday & Friday, Bringing
Us Scattered To Numerous Thunderstorms, A Few Of Which Could Be Occasionally Severe.
Otherwise For Your Forecast Tonight...We're Looking For Considerable Clouds, A Widely
Scattered 20 Or 30% Chance Of Showers Or Thundershowers. Overnight Low Of 64 With South Winds At 6
To 13. For Your Wednesday..88 Degrees Under Partly Cloudy Skies. It Will Be Windy, Humid,
& Warmer, As The South Winds Open Up From The Gulf, Bringing Us Moisture In Here At
15 To 25 MPH. And Looking At Your Week Ahead..We Are Dry
For The Most Part On Wednesday, Although The Humidity Again, Will Be Coming In..We'll See
Thunderstorms Most Numerous And Most Strong On Thursday & Friday..With Saturday Again
Being Dry, Sunday & Monday..More Showers..With Tuesday Turning Out To Be Dry Again. Hi's
Generally In The Upper 70's To Mid 80's And Lows At Night Generally In The Low To Mid
60's. And That's A Look At Your Four-Warn Forecast. I'm Damon Poole.
