This next silhouette that you can build upon is called a spindle. It's a spindle silhouette.
And since design is all about your own interpretation of things and that's one of the things if
you haven't picked up, if you've watched any of the other videos I've done is that I am
giving you frames of reference from my own, my head. It, to me, will symbolize what I'm
telling you. It's not the strict truth. There's nothing in fashion that is the strict truth.
It's all interpretation and it's all based on your interpretation of somebody else's
interpretation of somebody else's interpretation. So it's never ending in this is a spindle
silhouette. I think of Rapunzel. I think of her on her spinning loom and that spinning
loom's spindle does have this shape and then you could do this. Take this and build upon
it and just make sure that in order to have a spindle silhouette, you have it wider at
the top without being voluminous and then narrow, a definite narrow at the bottom and
then you will have your spindle silhouette with which to work with.
