At this point we're going to talk about needle depth and how far to properly go with the
needles. As you can see, the needles are sticking out about an eighth of an inch, a sixteenth.
Between a sixteenth and an eighth. And we work off the tips of the needles. We don't
bury the needles into the tube. And here's a good example of this. And we push the machine
forward, this is a diamond tip that we're working off here. And here we go. And when
I get to the point I pull up, you don't want dots on the end like what I'm covering up
here on this existing tattoo. I'm holding the machine so the ink wells up in the tube.
And that's a single pass line. Now we're going to go back to it and we're going to touch
that line up a little bit. You see we got a little squiggle there. We're going to clean
that up by going back through. Working off the tips of the needles, complete our arc.
Don't leave a ball on the end of the tip. And clean it up like this. And we're going
to continue on through the rest of this.
