So I would think the biggest tip on becoming an optometrist is to just spend some time
at your family optometrist's office. So the biggest pearl of wisdom I would share with
you is when you have, if you think it's something that you'd like to do, call the optometrist
that you go to. Call your family optometrist and they would be thrilled to have you come
and observe for a couple of hours and kind of give you an idea of what it's like on the
day to day routine for optometry, help you answer some questions and really help you
decide if it's something that you're family optometrist enjoys and why they enjoy it,
and then take it from there. But I think, I think before you choose optometry, spend
some time in an optometrist's office and see what it's like and see if you find that it's
the right thing for you.
