Swim camp.
A former Olympic athlete shows military kids how to make waves.

Most of these swimmers compete in the European Forces Swim League with their base swim club.
Some have raced for years; others are just getting started.
But everyone is capitalizing on the knowledge this former Olympic
and current West Point coach brings to Naval Station Rota's summer swim camp.
Because it's an opportunity to expose them to some things
and to get them thinking about the sport and even about life,
maybe a little bit differently than they had before.
Working at West Point, he's got lots of familiarity with military families,
and he just loves to give back to the community.
Wender spent five days teaching competitive techniques in and out of the pool.
