With a conventional pump with priming, you're waiting and you're watching and you're waiting
for the insulin drip to come out of the end of the infusion set line. It's a hassle.
Snap is superfast with autopriming Priming is very quick and easy
Snap it together, it automatically primes the tubing
And it's ease of use that is really a game changer as far as the intimidation factor.
It simplifies the whole process. And you twist it on like that, and just that
little action, pushes insulin all the way out of the end of the tubing.
And it automatically primes the tubing, which is something that no other pump is currently
doing. It's primed and ready to go just like that.
I get a kick out of that step because it's something that takes so much time with the
other systems, but I've never thought about how easy it can be until I've seen it done
on the Snap. It seems like an easy idea that we haven't seen before and it's kind of, "Gosh!
Why didn't I think of something like that?".
