If you're making
crystal essences or elixirs you do need to be cautious.
So what this means is basically you're taking some water
and you're infusing that water with the energy of a stone.
You then you use that water like a homeopathic remedy. Usually you just take a
few drops,
somewhere between eight and twenty drops a day is the
common recommended dosage depending on if you're just starting
or if you're at your monthly maintenance dose. These elixirs or essences can
be created for just about any purpose.
Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual - any of those
you can use crystal elixirs or essences to help with.
But you do need to use caution like I mentioned earlier.
A lot of stones are toxic so they shouldn't be placed directly in the
water.
There is an indirect method of creating crystal essences and elixirs and I
do teach that in one of my classes as well.
Basically you just have a container that has your water
and you have another container - your crystal goes in that one.
That container gets put it in so that the crystal's never making physical contact
with that water. Because you don't want to
take in something that could be toxic.
You also don't want to use something externally necessarily that could be
toxic or that you could have a reaction to. The other thing that you
sort of need to be mindful of is that you never want to use radioactive stones
in a crystal elixir or essence. I know this sounds pretty straightforward
but sometimes things that you wouldn't even suspect
are radioactive can be. I do have a great list,
it's a crystal caution list on my website. It's in the "Ways to Learn More" section.
You scroll down to the articles
and then you'll see "Crystal Caution List." It's the most complete list I've ever seen. I've
compiled that from my over 200
crystal books in my library in my healing room. But by all means it's
probably not complete.
So when in doubt, check the chemical make-up
of the stone. Mindat.org is a really great place to do that.
This is also a good resource to check into if you're trying to spot like crystal
fakes and frauds or something like that.
Mindat.org is excellent so just check in
there. It'll give you the chemical formula or make-up of the stone.
The only downside to that is you need to know which of those chemicals or
elements you can't put into the human body. So
when in doubt just use the alternative method and don't put the crystal
directly in the water.
But basically it works homeopathically. So we're using very small doses
and eventually our body will go through that process of entrainment
and match that energetic vibration of the crystal. This is something that's much
more subtle
and takes a great deal of time to achieve
as compared to something like a crystal healing session. In a crystal healing session
you can leave that afternoon feeling like you've had a change.
A crystal essence or elixir takes some time to build up in the body.
So you might be looking at three or four weeks before you have a noticeable
change.
That doesn't mean that it's not working for the first three or four weeks,
but it's a very gradual build-up of this energy in your system
until you get to the point where you notice, "Hey, yeah look -
that problem I was dealing with has really changed." So just give it some time.
