Hi and welcome to ShutterwiZe. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to setup and configure your online ecommerce store designed specifically for professional photographers.
In this last video, we successfully uploaded images from a recent shoot into a new client gallery, password protected the gallery, and emailed the login information to our client. Now, we're going to give our client the option to choose which images or prints she wants to purchase from us, and allow her to checkout and pay us using Paypal.
We'll start out by going to Galleries, then to Settings. Click on the Payment tab above. Change the currency settings to match your requirements if necessary. In the Payment Gateway settings, uncheck Paypal Cart Sandbox, and then check Paypal Cart Production. Now enter your Paypal email address where you collect payments in the text box below. If you'd like to use Google checkout or WePay, the process is similar. Click Save.
Now click the Checkout tab above. Again, browse through the settings on this page and make any changes as your require. Make sure that the email address located in Order notification emails is where you'd like to receive notifications of new orders and feel free to adjust the language of the automatic emails as necessary. In Receipt From, replace "Image Store" with the name of your name or your company's and replace the email address with your email address. This is the email that will be sent to your client. Add any terms and conditions below and when finished, press Save.
Now let's setup our Pricing. Click Pricing on the left menu under Galleries. ShutterwiZe provides a default Price List which you can customize to your liking. Also, if you wish to create additional price lists for different types of event - for instance, if you charge different prices for weddings than for studio portraits, feel free to create a new price list above.
By clicking the + sign next to our Default Price list we can make changes. Let's setup our price list for just 3 sizes to make things simple. I'll go ahead and delete all but 3 of the sizes I want to sell. (wait 5). Now let's say I want to sell a size that's not in the menu to the right - I'll click Add image size and setup my new custom size. (wait 7). Finally, i'll drag my new custom size to my default price list and click Update.
Note that you can also add color and finishing options to your default price list using the same method as we just discussed.
If you'd like to make your images downloadable, add a checkmark next to price of each image size in your Price List or if you intend to ship prints only, leave them unchecked. Downloadable images will provide the client with the ability to download their images after purchase directly from your site.
Finally, set your shipping costs if you intend to ship prints, and click Update. Note that you can also create packages for your clients to purchase as well as create promotions, though these are beyond the scope of this video.
Now let's take a look at the process your clients will encounter during selection and checkout. After sending them an email with information on how to view their gallery, your client can now browse through their gallery. If they like an image, they can click the Add to Cart link below the image, then choose the quantity, size and options they desire.
When ready, your client will click the Shopping Cart link to checkout. They can make any changes, apply a promotional code, choose their shipping, and add a message for you if desired. (wait 3) After clicking Update Cart, the Paypal button will appear which will take them to Paypal to send you a payment
After your customer has completed checking out, you can find information about the order by logging into your Dashboard, then going to Galleries, and then Sales. ShutterwiZe gives you the ability to export all of your sales as a CSV to open with spreadsheet software like Excel.
