I transferred to Loyola from another school in Chicago. I knew a little bit about the culture and atmosphere of Loyola and I knew that appealed to me more.
There is definitely an adjustment period but like I said I was pretty fortunate in terms of the people that I met and the friends I was able to form.
The student body at Loyola is definitely pretty diverse; we have people from all over. But I think that the student body is pretty open-minded.
Being a Biology major, I spend most of the time here at the Lakeshore campus so I really enjoy taking a 10-15 minute ride on the shuttle or the CTA going downtown Chicago.
The thing about Loyola is that you have the freedom to be who you want and still get to where you want to be.
