Hello everybody, and welcome to the Minecraft snapshot 12w41a and 12w41b review.
There aren't too many added features, so let's go ahead and get that done.
So first off in the options settings. Instead of "chat settings" there is "multi-player" settings now, and they have added were you can show the cape on or off. Which if you have a cape, allows it to be invisible or visible.
I'm not sure if it will still show the entity, but I know it will change the visibility.
If you go F3, you will see up in the top-left corner. There will be the direction.
The direction changes on the direction your facing. I guess this will help you, i you want to find something from your spawn point.
The biggest addition is a new item called an anvil.
They take 6 blocks of iron, and an iron ingot in the middle to get the anvil.
You can also get them by going into the creative inventory and typing anvil.
Now they're are 3 types of anvils. A regular anvil, slightly damaged anvil, and a very damaged anvil.
It shows them as if they're broke. Individually if their broken, it depends on what they land on to if they broke completely or drop.
So let me show you what anvils do.
So say you have these two.
You can combine items to make a refreshed one. Though it's kind of unuseful because you can just do that it your own inventory. Also everything requires XP levels.
Naming cost an extra 5 levels but it can be too expensive.
Depending on what height their dropped onto an entity the anvils themself can cause damage.
Usually it's a half-heart of damage but if it drops from a big height it can even kill you. It will say blank was killed by a falling anvil.
