Hi, my name is Jonathan Stewart, and this is how to choose a location for camping. Once
you've decided that you want to go camping, you've got to decide where you're going to
go. There's many different choices you can do. You can go to national parks, state parks,
campgrounds; any of these things, but you've got to choose what type of camping you're
going to do. Are you going to car camp? You're going to take your whole family; pack out
of a car, live out of the car for a week. Have the car right there near you, to where
you can store your gear in it, food in it, and stuff like that, okay? You can go backpacking.
This is where you're going to put everything in your pack, and you're going to start out
on a trail, and you're going to end at a certain point, and everything you take with you is
on your back, food, water, all that is right there with you. You can also go to a campground,
okay. Go to a campground, drop your car off in the parking lot and you have your coolers
and all that stuff. This is better for families. So these are some of the different types of
locations you can go camping, and once you decide that you do want to camp, you've got
to figure out who's going; stuff like that, cause' all that's going to be affected on
choosing a location for going camping. And this is how to choose a location for camping.
