OK, so it's the second day of the second week of Cancun.
And we're here at the Green Solutions exhibition.
There's a whole array of events going on,
exhibition spaces here with different companies and countries
showcasing all the different green technologies
and trade that they're doing, which is exciting.
So the ministers arrived over the weekend,
and yesterday the secretary of state went straight into consultations
and working with the Brazilians.
The Mexican government asked those two to come together
and talk to different parties about unresolved issues
under the Kyoto protocol,
and think about where the obstacles might be
and how we might work our way through those.
So the secretary of state's really busy doing that.
Meanwhile Minister of State Greg Barker has been out and about.
Yesterday he was at
the World Business Council for Sustainable Development day.
He was meeting with the president of the WBCSD.
He also took part in an event with an array of key stakeholders.
Today he's been here, he's been at a breakfast
with the president of Mexico, President Calderón.
He then came to the stand and met with the president's wife,
along with the ambassador out here.
And he's taking part in a World Economic Forum event.
And then we're gonna go straight back to the Moon Palace,
where all the negotiations are going on,
and he's gonna be meeting with countries,
talking about how we might work together going through
to see if we can work on any of those unresolved issues,
and meet with key stakeholders including NGOs and businesses.
So a busy day ahead, but hopefully we'll get some good conclusions.
