Cleveland is about 4 P's.
It's about the PEOPLE! We have people who are so excited to welcome you! We have people
so enthusiastic! For Cleveland, Ohio, this is BIG STUFF!
So you are going to be welcomed not just by the Gay Community, but by the entire general
community. This is REALLY, REALLY important to us!
We are doing a lot of diversity training so that the people in airport, the people on
the train a lot of these people are prepared to see gobs of gay people and the people are
going to be ready and ready to welcome you and to love you!
The PLACE: We have about as much coastline as Chicago. Lake Erie is beautiful and clean
and you can go running on the beaches and the place is great for sporting events, great
cultural events and we've got the best restaurants in town, you're going to love the PLACE!
The 3rd P - POLITICS: Ohio does not have any non-discrimination bill, {inaudible} bill,
no adoption bill, we are number 47 with Mississippi, Louisisana, Arkansas so politically, this
is big for us! We need to show that the gay communities can put on great events. Cleveland
and Northeast Ohio we have a wonderful gay community just like Chicago, but the rest
of the State, we've got a lot of work to do, so the third P is POLITICS!
The 4th one is to PARTY: We're going to have a great time! so you need to send the message
that Cleveland people know how to ROCK, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We are
going to rock it and have a great party.
So What are the 4 P's? Who can name the 4P's. Who can name one? {audience responds} PEOPLE,
PLACE POLITICS and PARTY

work, you can just come out and have a great time {audience laughter}. But if you want
to do more you can come out and volunteer as well at the GG9 website to sign up.
That's It! Than you very much! I look forward to seeing all of you in the August of 2014
in Cleveland {Crowd applauds}
