KAUFMAN: Oh my... what happened?
I can't believe the mast would suddenly collapse like that...
KAROL: We're fine, but... I hope Yuri and the others are okay...
KAUFMAN: I'd be surprised if they came out of an impact like that without a few scratches.
RAVEN: ...Those troublesome kids. You mind if I go and make sure they're still alive?
KAUFMAN: Now, hold on just a second. Who'll protect the ship while you're gone?
KAROL: I'm sorry, but by ourselves we wouldn't be much help in protecting the ship, anyway.
RAVEN: Hey, I ain't in the guild, anyway! I don't have to look after your ship if I don't wanna!
KAROL: But I wonder if we'll be okay with just the three of us...
RAVEN: You're right...
PATTY: Looks like it's my turn!
RITA: Didn't we tell you to be a little less energetic?
PATTY: No can do. There's no way I'd let the fierce Adventurer's Spirit burning within me just disappear like that.
PATTY: I can smell the treasure.
KAROL: Smell...? I don't think there's such a thing...
PATTY: An adventurer's sense of smell is even sharper than that of a man-eating shark's teeth.
KAUFMAN: Yes... I suppose we don't have a choice...
TOKUNAGA: Hurry up, you hear? We can't afford to stay adrift like this.
TOKUNAGA: It sure is creepy with just us here...
KAUFMAN: Eek, don't say things like that! Talk about something more fun!
TOKUNAGA: S-sorry...
Karol: I'm pretty nervous, but I'd feel awful if anything happened to the others.
We have to go save them. A-all right, let's do this!
Karol: Patty, wait! Rushing is dangerous. We don't know what might be lurking around the corner, so we should tread carefully.
Patty: You're right. I guess I'll go after you, Karol.
Karol: Huh...?
Patty: Okay Karol, lead the charge!
Karol: U-um, I don't really need to take the lead...
Patty: You're an unexpectedly reliable man, aren't you, Karol! Nothing compared to Yuri, though.
Karol: Patty! Don't push me!
Raven: Little Missy, why're you walkin' so far away from me?
Patty: I don't want Yuri to get the wrong idea.
Raven: Wrong idea?
Patty: Yuri and I are madly in love with each other.
Raven: You don't need ta worry. You're way out of my strike zone.
Patty: You can't fool me. I know you're already captivated by my womanly charm.
Raven: Is that a joke, or are you serious?
Patty: My intuition doesn't lie.
Rita: H-hey! Stop wandering around and getting sidetracked!
Patty: There might be treasure!
Rita: N-never mind that, just get going!
Patty: What, are you scared?
Rita: N-No I'm not...!
Rita: Ah! W-what was that!?
Patty: That door closed all on its own. That's suspicious! I'm going to go investigate!
Rita: W-wait! Y-You're going to get lost!
KAROL: *Huff* ...Thank goodness... You're okay.
YURI: Hey hey, you decided to come along for the ride, too?
Why'd you guys follow us in?
PATTY: We came here to find you, Yuri.
YURI: Quite the brave young lady aren't ya? Though it's a bit late saying that now.
PATTY: It's a sure thing that I have more courage than even that of the seashore Coelacanth!
YURI: I know you're brave. But isn't that what caused you to wander around in that old louse's mansion?
ESTELLE: That time in Ragou's mansion, right?
YURI: I wonder if those guys on the boat are all right...
KAROL: Let's get out of her quickly'
PATTY: The work of a ghost, huh?
RITA: Y-you gotta be kidding me!
ESTELLE: This ship's evil spirits are surely at the bottom of the ship, plotting to make us one of them...
RITA: D-don't make up stories like that!
RAVEN: N-no way that's p-possible.
YURI: We'll just have to look for another way out.
JUDITH: Right on. Let's go!
Rita: ......
Estelle: Rita, are you okay?
Rita: What do you mean? Of course I'm okay... That's why I'm gonna get outta here right now...
Raven: Aww, but we worked so hard ta get here! We should take our time and soak in the atmosphere!
Rita: We can't take our time here!!
I-I have the important mission of investigating the aer situation...
It's not like there's any other reason I'd want to leave here...
Raven: Ack, a strange face on the other side of the mirror...!
Rita: Eek... Er, uh, n-no, it can't be...!
Judith: I feel kind of sorry for her. Come on, let's finish what we came to do...for Rita's sake.
Estelle: Yes, that might be best...
YURI: Year 232 of Asule, 13th day of Bluerre?
ESTELLE: The Asule period and the month of Bluerre are from a time before the empire.
RITA: So over 1,000 years ago...
KAROL: That long?
ESTELLE: Adrift five and forty days. Food and water used up. Men succumbing to thirst and starvation.
I cannot give in, though. I must see the clear ciel crystal safely to Yormgen...
This crystal holds the power to banish the monsters, and with it the town may yet be saved.
I have stored the clear ciel crystal in my red chest, a gift from my dear Yuefan
It won't be much longer until I am in her arms again. And then we will all be saved.
...But he wasn't able to return to his town. He passed away here...
RITA: Come on Estelle, it was more than a thousand years ago.
PATTY: This ship has been roaming the wideopen sea all that time. How lonely...
KAROL: I've never heard of a town called Yormgen...
RITA: If this record is really that old, there's no guarantee the town even exists anymore.
YURI: Yeah, I guess that's true. ...What about that clear ciel crystal?
RITA: I've never heard of it.
RAVEN: The power to banish monsters. Huh.
JUDITH: I wonder if it's something similar to a barrier.
YURI: Do you think it might be here somewhere?
PATTY: Let's take a look!
Estelle: See how much better it is when we're all together?
Karol: It's times like these that give you a sense for how important cooperation really is.
Rita: Y-yeah, I guess. The runt said something smart for once.
Yuri: Not that we've done anything all that cooperative, yet.
Judith: That's all right. Just being together makes this place less frightening.
Raven: I wonder if it's really that simple. Aiee! It's a four-legged hell beast!
Estelle/Karol/Rita: Aaah!
Raven: Oops, my bad. Must've just been the pooch's shadow.
Repede: Woof!
Rita: Grr! You are so dead. I'm going to kill you and leave you haunting this ship!
YURI: Hm? Could this be it?
JUDITH: He is clutching something. It must have been very important to him.
KAROL: You think it's the clear ciel crystal?
YURI: Well it matches up with what was written in that diary.
RITA: Hey old man, you go get it...!
RAVEN: Um, no thank you. What is it with kids today, always blurting things out like that?
PATTY: Act your age. You're being a scaredy cat.
RAVEN: W-what was that! You're no better.
YURI: Don't compete with a kid. Act your age.
JUDITH: Here you go.
RAVEN: Waaah!
RAVEN: Judith darlin', you've got nerves of steel.
JUDITH: Do you think it might be cursed?
RAVEN: Hey, this thing's stuck...
KAROL: M-m-m-monst....
RAVEN: Huh? ...Aaaaah!
JUDITH: It appears to have the opposite effect.
KAROL: What are you talking about?!
JUDITH: It's drawing the monsters to us.
ESTELLE: Here it comes!
RITA: Ahhh...!
PATTY: He's getting away.
YURI: There's no reason for us to chase after that monster, right?
RAVEN: Jeez, poor Raven's getting' too old for this.
JUDITH: Should we give it back to him?
KAROL: I think that's what he wants!
ESTELLE: I...I want to deliver the clear ciel crystal to Yormgen for him.
RITA: You what?!
ESTELLE: Would it be possible to add that to the jobs being done by the guild?
KAROL: We can't, Estelle.
As a rule, tiny guilds like ours don't take on a new job...
...until they complete the one they're working on.
RAVEN: Completin' each job to the letter is the way new guilds have ta build their reputation.
JUDITH: Hm? Is the guild going to be sent running here and there by another one of this girl's whims?
RITA: Hey! You don't have to talk to her like that, you know!
RITA: Rita, wait...
Judith, I am sorry.
But I want to help him deliver this...to the one who was waiting for him.
YURI: I don't think anyone waits for a thousand years.
PATTY: Anyone would probably get tired of waiting after that long.
KAROL: I don't really think that's what he's talking about...
RITA: I'll find them.
ESTELLE: Rita...
RITA: You all have your hands full looking for Phaeroh and escorting Estelle, right?
I'm free to do what I like.
KAROL: Well, I'll come along too, then!
YURI: I don't mind going either.
RITA: H-hold it, you guys have your jobs to take care of!
YURI: You know you're going to end up sticking with us anyway.
So I don't see any problem with us helping you out a little on the side.
ESTELLE: Thank you!
RAVEN: Ah, how I envy the vigor of youth.
PATTY: Everyone gets along so well. Aren't you lucky Rita?
RITA: ... I-I'm not lucky at all.
PATTy: Really?
RAVEN: ...Huh?
JUDITH: Notice something?
RAVEN: It looks like there's smoke outside.
YURI: That might be Tokunaga's smoke signal. I wonder if the ceres blastia's working again.
KAROL: Let's get back and check it out.
RITA: Come to mention it, we won't be able to get back the way we came.
JUDITH: We'll just have to see if we can find a better way out.
Rita: It looks like the case holding the clear ciel crystal just won't open...
I wish we could make sure it's actually in there, considering the sort of place we found it in.
Karol: Couldn't you just bust it open with your magic?
Rita: No, I can't.
Estelle: Right. If we damaged the contents we wouldn't be able to make the delivery.
Rita: No, I mean I already tried blowing it up. This little box is tougher than it looks.
Estelle: ...I...I'm at a loss for words.
Karol: Forget it, Estelle. There's not much you can say to that.
Estelle: A-anyway, I suppose it makes sense to put something so important in an unbreakable box.
KAROL: Huh? Wasn't this locked earlier?
YURI: I guess we can go back though here.
RAVEN: ...Hmm, the curse was broken, huh?
RITA: Don't be ridiculous! Now, let's go!
RAVEN: Yes, ma'am.
Karol: What was with that skeleton monster? It felt different from the monsters we normally fight.
Patty: It could be the spirit of a monster dwelling on the wandering Atherum.
Rita: T-t-there's no way that's possible! That's totally unscientisfic! No proof!
Estelle: Repede, did you feel anything?
Repede: Woof woof! Woooof!
Karol: What did Repede say?
Estelle: Umm... I don't know.
Karol: I guess it's impossible for anyone but Yuri to translate. Hey, Yuri!
Rita: W-wait a second! You don't have to ask for clarification! It's okay to leave things as it is!
Patty: I wonder if it was okay to let that monster get away...
KAROL: If we could just jump down from there we'd reach the ship in no time...
JUDITH: Here you go.
RITA: Wh-where did you get that?
JUDITH: I thought something like this might happen, so I brought this form inside the ship!
RITA: ...I think I'm gonna gag.
KAROL: All right, let's go back to the ship... ...Wahhhh!
RITA: Good Grief...
RAVEN: If the ceres blastia's been fixed, that means we can say sayonara to this hellhole!
KAUFMAN: The ships ceres blastia's all fixed.
YURI: So it seems.
PATTY: Thank goodness.
KAUFMAN: Of all the... Why do I always get sucked into these messes?
If it was anybody other than me, you guys would've been left behind.
YURI: Sorry about that. We'll never do it again, promise.
KAUFMAN: *sigh*
JUDITH: I wonder what caused the ceres blastia to break down?
KAUFMAN: It just came back to life suddenly... We don't know how or why it broke down in the first place.
RAVEN: Ya really think there's a curse then?
ESTELLE: Perhaps the Captain wanted to pass the clear ciel crystal on to someone, and reached out to us.
RITA: No way! Dead people can't want to do anything...
YURI: Doors get stuck, the ceres blastia stops working... Sounds like a curse to me.
PATTY: It's a big world out there. There's a lot of things that we humans can't explain.
RITA: I said it can't happen, so it just can't!
KAROL: What're you hitting me for...?
KAUFMAN: I'm just glad that no one was hurt.
YURI: Well, the boss here's seen better days.
PATTY: Hmmm...
KAUFMAN: What's wrong?
PATTY: I don't know what the cause of the breakdown was, but there's the state of the ship to consider.
With a ship this old, and if you happened to use a defective blastia, it's inevitable that we'll end up shipwrecked.
RITA: Wow, you're pretty sharp when it comes to things related with ships.
KAROL: Wait, that was it!? A faulty ship!?
KAUFMAN: What? Fine, I get it, I get it. Guess it can't be helped. I'll have them take a look at the ship when we get to port.
No complaints then, right? I'm doing you a big favor, after all.
RITA: Hey, are we going to Nordopolica or not? Let's get this thing out of here.
KAUFMAN: Right. I'm looking forward to finally getting there as well.
