These players could well be future stars of the NFL.
College football doesn't get much bigger than this as Alabama rolled over Notre Dame to
win the NCAA BCS National Championship for the second year running.
And while the fans showed just how much it meant to them, the feeling was even better
for quarterback A.J. McCarron.
"It's pretty crazy, when you think about it, all the history in college football, in the
BCS era, it's pretty special and I think it shows a lot on coach (Nick) Saban."
Winning defensive tackle Jesse Williams comes from Australia, and he thinks this result
could boost football back home.
"Hopefully it will grow the sport over there. At least get people to come back over here.
Even recruit in Australia, and help the sport grow in Australia, and hopefully become something
some day."
Next year Alabama will look to fly the flag once more and become the first ever team to
win three consecutive BCS titles
