Please welcome Laure Sainclair!
Good Evening Thierry!
Like many ex *** stars, you wanna switch to another type
of employement, so you chose music.
Correct.
Your first single came out in 2000.
You covered Janette's "Porque te vas"
but it wasn't a hit.
It was!
Really ?
I was pretty satisfied.
I got a lot of attention from the medias : magazines and tv.
Today, you have a new song
You covered Spandau Ballet's "True"
Do you know what you have to do ?
You could put your hands up for her, Laurent !
It's called "vous" in French, listen up !
I really liked spandau ballet, what about you Laurent?
Pardon ?!
I asked you if you liked Spandau Ballet.
Oh, I really know nothing about music, Thierry.
Oh really ?!
Yeah, but he does know that kind of music !
Do you think you can redefine your reputation with this new record?
Actually, yes.
I am redifining my reputation.
What do you think ?
You're right... because now I can't remember your movies.
You enjoyed my movies so you'll enjoy my song.
Sure.
All right.
You're trying to redeem yourself, right ?
No, not at all. I'm just trying to be myself.
And I wanted to sing for a long time.
But your producer is threatening some *** websites with legal proceedings
because they still mention you and you don't want that.
It makes sense to me!
But if you've accepted your past, you have to accept your present and future too.
But not until the rest of my life !
Why ?
I had a job that lasted eighteen months
and I moved on to music because I believe I deserve a second chance.
But you don't want to talk about your old job, right ?
But we're talking about it now!
Everybody's talking about it !
But there's a big difference between what you used to say
during your interviews at that time and what you say today.
I mean, your views on your past have completely changed.
I was comparing what you said in "Hot Video Magazine" and "Young and Pretty Magazine".
Yes...
For exemple, when "Hot Video Magazine"asked you about your first sex scene, you said that,
though you were very intimidated, you got along well with your very first partner, Christophe Clark.
Yes...
Was it ok at that time ?
Yes, at that time, it was ok.
Because today in "Jeune et Jolie", you said that you felt humiliated
and dirty and that you would clean yourself all day long.
Yes, it's true.
But why do you tell two different stories now ?
Because when you work in any industry, you want to
show what's positive about your job but when you open your eyes
and realize what you did, you change your mind.
That's also what you said about your parents. In "Jeune
et Jolie", you said you were not in touch with them for more than
2 years. When you called your parents, they would hang up
on you.
Right.
Then, in another interview, you said that your parents
have always stood by you.
Well, we grew apart and that's absolutely logical
We talked things through so that they can understand me
and maybe forgive me (I should ask them) but right now
we're getting back in touch and it's fine.
But there's a story that never changes...
Yes, there's only one version.
What did I say ?!
Well, it's about how you got into the Adult Industry
in 1995, in Rennes, during a sex exhibition called "Curiosa 95"
You saw *** stars dancing and you thought "that's my vocation
and I want to be part of this, that's my life ".
"That's my choice !"
My friends and I went to that exhibition because it was the
first that took place in Rennes and of course we were all curious
and yes, it's true, I saw some girls dancing. Someone
challenged me by saying " I bet you can't get up on that stage!".
But since I thought that the professional dancers were the only ones who could get on
stage, I said " Sure, I can do it!". Then somebody came up to me
and said "Great! You can get up on that stage now !"
So I got up on that stage...
How many movies did you make ?
15.
In 18 months ?!
Yes.
Well, that's...
That's...
That's hard !
Did you like that ?
Not at all.
Really ?
I had a contract that I respected and when it ended I just gave up.
In some interviews, you said you were forced to work as a *** star
You mentioned traps and talked about unscrupulous people and
you said you did 6 scenes a day without any rest, so you did
suffer, right ?
A little bit, yeah.
Physically and emotionally, yeah.
But you really had to respect that contract ?
Well, when you sign a contract, you just have to respect it.
Especially if you're a honest person.
I'm asking you because some girls who came on my show
have experienced what you experience but they learn to
cope because they didn't suffer that much.
Well, good for them!
It's difficult.
Would you do it again ?
If I had to do it all over again ? No.
I would do something else.
A complete nightmare ?
Well, if you put it like that...
So, what do you think about your life up until now ?
Well, *** belongs to my past, now music is my future
Well, Laure, since you've been up and down, we have to
have an "up and down" interview!
What do you prefer about yourself ?
My kindness.
Me too. I really like my kindness !
We're very similar, actually.
What do you hate about yourself ?
My greediness.
You're so lucky that Baffie (a comedian) isn't with us tonight!
I'm from Brittany and I do love eating
What do you prefer in music ?
The lyrics.
Because I choose them.
Usually, I read all the lyrics that are offered to me
Franck always writes my lyrics and if I don't like them
well, we throw them to the garbage and we start again.
What do you hate in music ?
The hypocrisy.
What did you like in *** ?
Nothing.
That's the first time that I see such a rejection.
I know.
That's what I think.
What did you hate in *** ?
The abuse. Because they don't always treat us with kindness.
We're like kleenex : they use us and then, they throw us out.
What's your best own *** movie ?
I'll skip that question!
In that case, let's ask somebody else !
What about you, Laurent Gerra ?!
What is your worst *** movie ?
ALL OF THEM
Really ?
Maybe some movies were good, but I
found myself very ugly. They made me look older
I don't like that.
But that's my opinion!
Well I definitely need to watch them again... I have to have my own theory about that!
What's the time of your life ?
When my musical career took off. It's a new life for me.
And what is the worst moment of your life ? (except now)
Probably those difficult moments that I went through when I left
the *** industry. I suffered a lot, physicallly and mentaly.
So, yeah, definitively the worst moments of my whole life.
So how did you get over that ?
I went to therapy.
When did you get a lot of money?
At the lottery! I won the lottery.
Really ?
I won a small amount so it was funny.
Really ? How much ?
210 $ !
Well we could spend the evening together!
We could go to Hippotamus (a restaurant, FYI)!
What's your biggest loss of money?
My lawyer!
Is he a money pit ?
What is your best love story ?
I've never had one.
Oh no...
I met someone when I was 18, I really loved him
it lasted 2 months but unfortunately, he left me.
I was not lucky on that one...
And when you're 18 years old, it's hard to accept that.
And since then ?
NOTHING.
No.
I knew it !
I'm better off ALONE.
Really ?
Yeah.
What do you mean ?
Well, you've got the experience!
What is your worst love story ?
Tonight, with you.
Well, the evening's just begun !
What is your sexiest feature ?
Well, men might disagree but I like my eyes.
No, men always start with the eyes.
What is your unsexiest feature ?
My legs.
I'm small and I don't like that.
I'm 5'3 and I'd like to be taller.
What's your favorite thing about sex ?
Tenderness and softness.
And what does disgust you about sex ?
VIOLENCE AND ABUSE.
I DON'T LIKE THAT.
You're ready to be a lesbian!
No.
Not at all.
Because when we say that....
I'm waiting for prince charming.
I hope someday he will come.
Do you want to advertise ?
I might get too many letters!
It's ok, I'll get e-mails for you!
So tell us what you want
So we can select.
I don't have a particular type. I want someone I could get along
with. A nice and sincere man.
Because we can do it! We married Larusso (singer).
Really ?
That's maybe not the greatest thing you did!
Yes, but that was hard !
Laure Sainclair, "VOUS".
She covered Spandau Ballet's "True".
