On behalf of expertvillage.com, I am Jennifer with A Perfect Fit Alterations. We’re located
at 102 S. Main Street in Burleson, Texas. Our phone number is 817-447-3522. Today we’re
going to use a zigzag stitch to decorate a very plain pair of shorts. I have chosen a
yellow which will show up pretty good. What you use in a bobbin is not that important
cause it’ll be on the inside. And you want to start at the edge. We’re going to use
this zigzag stitch to go along the bottom of the hem to jazz up these shorts cause they’re
very plain, and we might want to wear a yellow t-shirt or something like that with them.
So we’re going to position our pressure foot and we’re going to sew along here to
use the zigzag stitch to jazz up these shorts. I want to use a wide stitch and I want to
use a longer stitch…and this is going to add some color and pizzazz to the bottom of
these shorts.
Remember when you get to the edge of your end of your zigzag, you want to do a forward
backward to lock that stitch in place.
And we’ve used that as a decorative stitch to jazz up the shorts.
