Any assignment that a student submits through Blackboard can be located in the Grade Center.
A green exclamation point icon in the Grade Center indicates that an assignment has been submitted for grading.
Click on the double down arrow icon in the cell that contains the submission you wish to grade.
Select View Grade Details.
Click View Attempt to access the submitted file.

Here you can click on the attached file name to open or download the file for grading and read any comments that the student has submitted.
Under the Grade Current Attempt section, you can enter a grade for the assignment and provide feedback to the student.
Enter in any comments you wish to leave for the student in the Feedback to User text area.
If you have made comments or corrections on the submitted file, you can upload the corrected file to the student.
Click Browse My Computer and navigate your computer to the location of the graded file.
Select the file and click Open.
Now the graded file is ready to send back to the student along with any comments you have made.
Press Save and Exit to record the grade and send the comments and any uploaded files back to the student.
