SRJ, pronounced surge, is an open access peer reviewed and student governed publication.
SRJ publishes two issues a year; one in the fall and again in the spring.
The next issue will be published in December of 2013.
Topics in all fields of information science theory, application or practice are covered.
SRJ provides an opportunity for graduate students from all around the world
to gain exposure of their work through publication.
SRJ accepts submissions on a rolling basis from current graduate students.
SRJ's editorial team has six content editors, two copy editors, a managing editor
and an editor-in-chief, all of whom are library
and information science graduate students at San Jose State University.
All editorial board members are affiliated with the SLIS Program as well.
