Welcome to the Afro Hair blog on msychrissy.com I'm just on the set of the Top 10 Music videos for 2012 in Grenada and I just wanted to show you how I achieved this hairstyle.
I guess I'll call it the 'Bandeaued Afro'
or the 'Ribboned Afro'
All you need for this is
just a comb, a brush, and a ribbon
and of course your lovely Afro Hair
Make sure your hair is
well combed out
You're going to comb out your entire hair
until it really just looks like an Afro.
and I'm sure you can get an Afro Pick to do this as well
but a comb works, especially because my hair is manageable at this point in time.
Before this hairstyle, I had my
hair in some big plaits just to moisturise it from my previous hairstyle
earlier on in the day.
So once your hair is properly combed out all over
brush it up if you need to
Now you are going to take your scarf or ribbon
or whatever it is
- I just usually roll it (scarf/ribbon) you can fold it however you wish
So I'm rolling up...in the meantime you can check out

so my ribbon is ready
and I'm going to now tie it around my head.
just like that
right so you can tie in place however you wish. You might want to put it down.
I like to put the little bunny ears,
I think it's cute.
Tie that in place and...
Voila!
Just to make sure that it's
in place all over
Get it good. Get it even.
Of course before you do this
you want to make sure that your ends
are well moisturised so that you are not going to have dry hair at the end of the day.
Ok. Be sure to check out

and remember to Love the Hair you are under! Kisses!
