...they very often decorate their cars,
be it for good luck or simply because they like it.
That's why such a crazy version of Takistani Zhiguli won't be missing.
I think we can reveal this already...
As a token of our gratitude towards Czech soldiers serving in the real Afghanistan
we decided to include Czech forces in the game.
Here you can see an example - Czech Mi-17 with the Czech camo and the state symbol.
There will of course be soldiers too, Czech base, field hospital maybe.
...
We can move on.
If you ever wanted to make scenarios involving the UN the game is ready for that too.
The player will get 1 side whose use depends on ???
...but because we will maintain the game again there will be some bonus things.
Well, here's a vehicle of the Takistani army. A boxed V3S.
I think it's very well made...
Now if you allow me I'd like to switch from the far future to the close one.
As you can see we are preparing an "improvement" for ARMA 2.
???
So we prepared some surprises in the patch. There will be some ???
And there will be some new playable content.
Other than the addition to the multiplayer battles where you fight over the whole maps with tens and thousands of units...
It's a completely independent scenario. You can just let the AI fight on it's own and just play an infantryman
or just don't play at all and just watch the fight.
Or you can become the commander of one of the sides. We added the options of diplomacy here.
We have 3 sides fighting here so you can form alliances, treaties and so on.
Before we get a playable demonstration ready...
???
...I'd like to get back to the history for now.
For the people from our community who travelled here I took a few...
I'd like to show them a few pearls from the development.
Here you can see the 5 men Razor Team - USMC's Force Recon special forces.
They aren't called Force Recon anymore, but we liked the old name that we kept it.
Sergeants Rodriguez, O'Hara, Miles, Cooper and Sykes.
I think I already mentioned this during Karel's speech:
We later found out that one of the characters from the famous shooter Crysis is named Sykes.
He's called Psycho and is the main character of the later expansion.
It was just a pure coincidence, our battle plan in case we were accused...
...you can take that...
...we'd say that Sykes from Warhead is ARMA 2's Sykes' nephew.
However we indeed had to prepare this render somehow.
The simplest way was to take a bunch of designers.
???, assistants of our designer and one programmer.
This was to give the graphic artist doing the render some inspiration.
We further improved it here.
It often doesn't look too professional-made but these things help us...
Yesterday I mentioned we flavoured the game for ourselves with similar silly things. Can't be called otherwise.
These give it a bit of the touch and are often purely internal.
This time we conquered the favorite billboards.
Well, this is our sound engineer.
The graphic who did this got the simple task of "do the craziest billboard you can".
Pizza Presto is a small pizzeria in Mnisek pod Brdy.
You can't even sit down there, they just make the pizza and pass it to you through a window.
We payed them a bit of tribute this way.
So if you ever found yourself in Mnisek pod Brdy with an appetite for pizza
then it's www.pizzapresto not .cs as Chernarus but .cz as in Czech.
Obviously with the travel agency Malden Tours you can visit the island of Sahrani,
the main setting of Armed Assault, ARMA 2's predecessor.
Here, South Sahranian flag, North Sahranian bikini - the flag of the evil guys.
Combine harvester add.
Here's an election billboard for a liberal, slightly right-wing party.
And as it usually is somebody sprayed such a nasty text on it.
And this is an election poster of the nasty communistic party where none dared to spray anything on.
One of our programmers served as a model.
If you've seen GamePage it's the one who does thermal vision for Arrowhead.
Ah, what I could have mentioned is that Arrowhead will bring many technological advancements.
For example backpacks that you can take off.
I find a backpack, I take it off the dead body, put in what I need so I can carry more things.
There will be thermal vision too. As in a realistic one.
It's no marketing talk. It's not like just making vehicles and units white and everything else gray.
If you fire from a gun it heats up and becomes more visible.
Vehicle: if it turns its engine on it starts heating up. When it turns it off it cools down.
If a person dies his body temperature starts decreasing.
It's practically taken over from our military simulator when the soldiers wanted all this.
Sadly I can't show you this here yet, we don't have the complete data and we'd like to present it...
