Today we are going to review and install part number A40415 from Agri-Cover. This is their
SnowSport all terrain plow. We have the parts laid out in approximate order of assembly
and where we are going to end up when everything is put together. First off the blade itself
that you can see in the middle is 82 inches wide and it also has a rubber strip on the
bottom of it, the actual cutting edge that drags on the ground and pushes the snow too.
You have two brackets that get installed on the rubber strip itself. The rubber strip
itself will get installed on to the bottom edge of the blade inside this track. Next
what happens is these brackets get bolted on to the back side of the blade and is going
to sit on the frame itself if it is being carried or being used as a plow. 00:50
This is the frame bracket that the plow will rest on when it is not in use. It will sit
in this slot right here and while it is in use the plow will slide up and down on the
frame as needed. The next part we have is the actual shank. It bolts to the back side
of the frame and this part actually goes to the receiver hitch. The shank is designed
for two inch receivers, basically your Class III receivers on up. Finally on top of your
aluminum collar and what that does is it sits in the depth of the shank as it goes in to
the hitch itself so that way when you push it in, you hit the collar and it stops and
then you put your pin in. You do not have to guess with pulling it in and out just
a
little bit. Once you
have it set up you do not have
to worry about it again. 01:38
