Today I'm going to show you to fold my new model, a baby snow owl.
To fold this baby snow owl, you will need one square piece of paper.
With a different color on each side.
Start with the color on top.
And fold the two diagonals.
Then unfold and turn the paper to the other side.
Fold the square in two vertically.
Unfold.
And fold the two sides to the vertical axis.
Then fold the two sides again.
Unfold.
And turn the model to the other side.
Fold the two bottom corners to the center.
And we are going to fold the two corners again, at the level of the first crease.
Then we will fold this fold back.
So open it here.
And start at the top, fold again, and flatten the model.
Same thing on the other side.
We fold again, starting at the top.
And then I flatten.
Then at the top, unfold a little bit and bring this edge to this crease.
And mark the fold only at the top.
And then we will invert this fold.
So that we can fold in the middle.
And we will do the same thing on the other side.
Open.
Invert the fold.
And flatten again.
Now we are going to fold the model in two.
From this point here, to the point on the other side.
Mark the folds well.
And turn the model to the other side.
And we are going to bring this corner to this crease.
And the fold is going to be right there.
Mark the fold well.
And now we will keep this fold closed and we will fold back here on the crease.
Just one layer like that.
And then we will flatten.
And this is going to be one of the wings.
Same thing on the other side.
The corner to the crease.
Mark the fold well.
Then fold back one layer.
And flatten.
Now we are going to fold along this crease.
And we are going to mark the fold all the way to the top.
Now for one second turn the model to the other side.
And fold this tip a little bit.
This is going to be the foot of the owl.
Just a little bit.
Then unfold.
Turn the model to the other side.
Unfold again.
And we will repeat on the other fold here.
Mark the fold well all the way.
Turn the model to the other side.
And fold the foot of the owl.
Unfold, turn the model to the other side, unfold again.
And we will mark this fold here all the way as well.
And unfold.
Same thing on the other side.
This fold between this crease and this crease.
And unfold.
Turn the model to the other side.
And now we are going to put this edge to this point.
And we are going to mark the fold.
In the middle.
Then put your finger inside.
So that you can mark the fold inside here.
Let me show you.
Same thing on the other side.
Mark this fold as well.
Same thing here.
We are going to fold right here.
In the middle.
And then open and mark the fold.
So our owl is almost done.
Now we just need to fold back the beak.
And this is a baby snow owl.
You can also fold back the feet.
To make it in 3D.
Also fold the wings towards the front.
If your fold is not perfect, you can try to form it again a little bit.
And your owl is complete!
You can also try to make your owl stand on his feet.
And you may need to adjust a little bit the wings and the feet to do that, but your owl should be able to stand.
I hope you like this cute origami baby owl and that you will fold lots of owls.
If you do fold this model, please send me pictures so that I can show them in a next video.
