Is it bad to drink too much milk?
It is possible to drink too much milk. There are African tribes where being fat is a sign
of wealth, because you can afford to drink milk instead of water.
Can you drink too much milk even if you aren’t getting fat?
Any milk is too much milk if you allergic too it. Any milk above a few sips is too much
if you are lactose intolerant and don’t have a Lactaid first.
I know that Native Americans thought they were being poisoned when they drank milk and
had vomiting and swollen stomachs, leading to more than one attempted *** charge.
What about the rest of us?
If you are diabetic, you need to limit milk because it is readily broken down by the body
into sugar.
So milk isn’t good for diabetics.
Small amounts of hard cheese are OK, but you can’t drink milk or eat a lot of cheese
and maintain stable glycemic index.
I’ve read it isn’t very good for the Atkins diet, either.
You’re allowed a few grams of it at first, a few ounces a day later. Enough for a literal
sprinkling on the salad, but not enough to interfere with the fat burn.
Cheese is popular with vegetarians.
And you can get fat if you drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of cheese for protein.
You need the calcium for your teeth.
I agree, milk is a lot better tasting than tofu with added calcium sulfate and may tie
with calcium fortified soy milk or kale. But you still have to brush your teeth afterward.
Milk is good for your teeth.
If just drinking milk couldn’t hurt your teeth, dentists wouldn’t see so much bottle
mouth, where the inside sides of the baby’s teeth are riddled with cavities. You do still
have to brush your teeth after drinking all that milk or you risk rotting them.
