to try and steal it. I mean, seriously; how would you feel if you stole some
dude's very first guide? For shame!
If you don't like spoilers, don't read this guide, because, just out of
boredom, I have gone out of my way to spoil critical plot points such as
Queen Brimhild being the source behind all the chaos going on in the world
of Astonishia and Akra being a traitor to her army that eventually joins
your forces, while falling in love with Rudoug... yeah, I'm horrible.
Astonishia Story is a strategy RPG of Korean origin that was released on PC
in 1994, and ported to the handheld system GamePark32, and again to the ever
popular Sony PlayStation Portable. The world of Astonishia is pack-full of
quirky, sailor-tongued NPCs and scripters who not only talk to you in the
game, but make it clear they have no idea how to script a balanced EXP
system. There is also another continuation of Astonishia called "Astonishia
Story: Forgotten Saga". Not much is known of it though. Actually, there
may be a lot known of the sequel to this, but I just downright don't feel
like checking... besides, this is an Astonishia Story guide. Forgotten
guide to how much HP you can expect them to have. Since this game has hella
sidequests that I can't always figure out, I'll just put "NOTICE!" in all
caps if I find something I think is a potential sidequest.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [LOYD] Lloyd
Age: 24 Class: Knight
Species: Human ------------------------------------------------
Lloyd has been promoted rapidly at an early age
and is the vice-commander of the Palmira 5th Infantry. He is very proud of his title and
ability. He is not good at controlling his emotions, though.
------------------------------------------------ [YLEN] Ylenne
Age: 22 Class: Apprentice Wizard
Species: Human ------------------------------------------------
The granddaugter of Lezail, Ylenne is one of the
Eight Counselors in Astonishia. Lloyd saves her
when she is abducted by the bandit Karof. While
bold and immature, she is kind and understanding. ------------------------------------------------
[RDLF] Rendalf Age: 180
Class: Merchant-Warrior Species: Dwarf
------------------------------------------------ A veteran general who has been through many
battles, Rendalf is now a merchant. Unlike other
dwarves, he does not get angry easily and judges
things objectively. However, his bitter remarks show that is surely from a dwarf tribe.
------------------------------------------------ [RDUG] Rudoug
Age: 25 Class: Monk
Species: Human ------------------------------------------------
Rudoug is Carrahan's best pupil, the polite warrior with a strong sense of justice and
loyalty. He is shy and not a man of the world. ------------------------------------------------
[LZEL] Lezail Age: 135
Class: Wizard Species: Human
------------------------------------------------ Since childhood, he has demonstrated great
intelligence and outstanding magical ability. At
the age of 30, he was called the Prominent Sorceror and now is one of the eight nestors
in Astonishia. He has a staff alled Vichrec,
which is made of wood hit by a thunderbolt.
------------------------------------------------ [HTAK] Hataik
Age: 12 Class: Fighter
Species: Human ------------------------------------------------
As the first born son of Abur tribe elder Klaff,
Hataik is the legitimate heir of the Asakan blood. He inherited the Asakan family's sword
of honor, "Galangan." Bold and clever, he never
believes others are superior to him. ------------------------------------------------
[AKRA] Akra Age: ??
Class: Magic Monk Species: Elier
------------------------------------------------ Akra dislikes those who discriminate against
the other tribes. She acts bitter and cold, but
is, in fact, warmhearted and shy.
------------------------------------------------ [JNAS] Jenas
Age: 118 Class: Archer
Species: Elven ------------------------------------------------
Jenas is the last survivor of Halken Village, the guardian village of Gaumberg, where Lloyd
stopped in the middle of the middle of the military expedition for Ferarin. Jenas is
the only one who can speak the archaism of the
ancient Elf Empire. ------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the portion in which you can find
help at whatever point of the game you need. If you just wanna blaze through,
avoid all the sidequests. ------------------------------------------------
1. Rudelberg [RDLB] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd
As our hero of knightmanship, Lloyd von Roiental, you start off in the
kingdom of Rudelberg and learn quickly of your mission to aid the King in the
transfer ceremony of Cainan's Staff. After being released from the Inn, head
north to the royal castle.
Castallen will grant you the staff, and then you can be on your way to start
your mission. You will be sent outside of Rudelberg right after the scene,
but I advise you go and stock up on any items you may need.
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Lance, Knight, Solider
After leaving Rudelberg, head across the western bridge into the forestry.
------------------------------------------------ 2. Plateau Wood [PASS]
------------------------------------------------ Here you will meet an odd fellow with some
piracy-related humour. Don't worry about him, he's not significant unless
you happen to be in-tune with piracy problems of the Asian areas.
Level up a bit if you like and head eastward to another forestlike area.
------------------------------------------------ 3. Plateau Forest [PLTF]
------------------------------------------------ You will hit a story scene here where your
troops attacked by an unknown troop of enemies. You will be sent into a
suicidal search for the pleasure of the cowardly Sir John, but receive
no results. Unsatisfied, Sir John will, against your will, send you
even deeper yet and most of your troop will be assassinated by elven archers.
Alone you return to your legion to learn that Sir John has fled,
and your attackers' leader is shown: An elven Knight the name of [Francis
De La Cross]
There is a neat animated battle scene here in which you suffer a
overwhelming defeat by Francis and have your armor shattered by his
awesome swordsmanship.
After your entire troop is devastated, you are again alone, but sent
to a new area of the overworld. ------------------------------------------------
SIDEQUEST 01: Iringis Ruby' [SQ01] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd
Head east and you will arrive at the [Village of Iringis]. May be a good
time to stock up on items and upgrade your equipment.
Head on over to the Village Chief's house, and you will learn of a
girl's sickness and the tradgedy of a village. Their ruby was stolen
and now everyone has become vulnerable to whatever illness may
befall them, and of course, you have to retrieve it.
Northeast should be a bar where you will see a man dressed in brown and
green, talk to him and you will get a boss fight.
--------------------------------- |BOSS(TRM1) HP(Est.)|
|-------------------------------| |Trumman+ 110 |
--------------------------------- Once he's defeated then he will vanish and
request you come to Setia Woods if you want the ruby back.
Head southwest to the [Setia Woods] and do some leveling up while you
grab the chests lying around and search for the area [Trumman's Fastness]
... don't ask what his fastness has to do with his fortress, I don't get
it either. Anyway; go on inside and for a boss fight.
--------------------------------- |BOSS(TRM2) HP(Est.)|
|-------------------------------| |Trumman+ 150 |
--------------------------------- After defeating them, return to Iringis and
give the Ruby to the Village Chief for [Water of Life]. Talk to the girl
upstairs to receive 100G. ------------------------------------------------
SIDEQUEST 02: Feverish Woman [SQ02] ------------------------------------------------
In Iringis, there is a woman in the northwesternmost house that is
suffering from a fever and requests a wet towel. Go to the small outhouse
on the side of the Village Chief's house to recieve a [Handkerchief].
If you've already done [SQ01] then you will have the [Water of Life] and
can restore this woman to her health. ------------------------------------------------
4. Ferry [FERY] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd
If you did not do [SQ01] then you must earn 2000 Gelder to use this
ferry, otherwise, passage is free to the next area.
However you go about it, you will control of the Ferry and venture to
the Weststone Area and lose access to Iringis after arriving.
------------------------------------------------ SIDEQUEST 03: True Gentleman [SQ03]
------------------------------------------------ Look for the town with a pile of stones west
of it(no, this is actually the town's trademark... I kid you not) and
you will find Weststone.
In the back of the town there is a two-part Inn in which you can walk
between to access the bar. The waitress spills water on one of the
customers and he goes berserk on her. One of them attacks you and fails,
but another retailiates with his huge mass and knocks you out.
You wake up in the waitress' house and escape quickly after a meal as
thanks for helping her out.
Go to the weapons shop, and you'll get some free armor(which would
originally have been really expensive) and he'll direct you towards
Bluedeep Mountains. ------------------------------------------------
SIDEQUEST 04: The Cowardly Sir John [SQ04] ------------------------------------------------
Head to the arena on the eastern side of Weststone and pay for training.
You will encounter the same cowardly Sir John that fled when you were
ambushed back in the plateau forest! ---------------------------------
|BOSS(CWRD) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Sir John 171 | ---------------------------------
After defeating him, you form an agreement in which says he will never
speak of himself as a "knight" again for his cowardice.
------------------------------------------------ SIDEQUEST 05: The Healing Fist! [SQ05]
------------------------------------------------ To the far northeast side of the Weststone
area, there is a village linked to the mainland by a bridge, this is
the village of [Dengun].
Don't bother trying to upgrade your equipment here... all of the stuff they
offer in Dengun blows.
The first house you see there will have a deaf old main in need of healing.
Talk to him... or at least try to. There is an opening in the eastern side
of his wall that some items are hidden in, go ahead and take 'em, he can't
hear you doing it anyway.
Now leave and, to the far north, you will see a master of the
Chilseong(aka Healing) Fist. He won't be hard to find, the guy
you're looking for is 1.5x the height of you and everyone else, has a
big-freakin' head and is dressed in purple.
The both of you will barge into his house and Chilseong will wildly attack
the old man with the...umm... PENETRALIA of Chilseong Fist... whatever, man.
Anyway, you jump in to stop him before he goes overboard and kills the man,
and his hearing is a restored... your reward? Nothing! Gratz moi...
------------------------------------------------ 5. Bluedeep Inn [BDIN]
------------------------------------------------ Head to the southwesternmost area and you
will end up here. Go to the horses' stables and to the far north should be a letter.
Grab it and head to the barkeeper for an interrigation which will
result in a boss battle. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(BDTG) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Buff Thief+ 107 | ---------------------------------
After defeating them, the barkeeper will break down and into tears and start
whining about how he was blackmailed. Now at the entrance, you will be able
to leave through a small opening to the west(look for the sign that points
west) that will lead you into Bluedeep Mountain. ------------------------------------------------
6. Bluedeep Mountain [BDMT] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf
On the bridge to the main area of the mountain, a girl and dwarf will force
their way into your party and then you proceed to an area where thieves are
waiting to rob you. You rush off and leave your teammates behind to chase
the thieves and the dwarf follows to help you out with a trap you've run
right into. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(MTHV) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Tough Thief+ 78 | ---------------------------------
After defeating the fearsome fivesome, you return to Ylenne and the rest
only to find that a thief lord, Karof, has taken them hostage, thus begins
yet another distraction from your main quest.
Go ahead and grab any nearby chests, there's a lot of healing items on
this mountain that will be useful later.
When you're done looking around, head to the northwesternmost area to find
a cave ------------------------------------------------
7. Bluedeep Mountain Cave [BMTC] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Rendalf
Head west into a room full of treasures and then east for a new sword(which
isn't really useful... or even new if you've been doing the sidequests),
head north and grab the chest and continue on north. You and Rendalf will
split up in the next room where there's a fork in the road.
If you wanna grab some more treasure, head east, grab the chest, west
grab the chest and continue up the stairs in the western passage for
more junk and outdated armor, flip the switch in the eastern
corridor, and head back downstairs. Go north for some bread and through
a long path that leads up some stairs. Keep following the path through
a large opening in the cave in which you will meet up with Ylenne being
*harassed* by Karof and attack. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(TKRF) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Thief Lord Karof+ 145 | ---------------------------------
Even though you appear to beat him, he's still able to get in a hit, but
a winged lady that is apparently an enemy of Karof interrupts, giving you
the perfect escape opportunity. She introduces herself as a great servant
of the Queen Brimhild, named Akra. She attacks Karof in pursuit of the
[Cultrun Ruby] in which Ylenne steals as you make your leave.
Outside the Cave, you finally get to converse with Ylenne and Rendalf
emerges to re-join you. You carry on to the Keric Colony Side Area.
Since you don't really have any access to any other place, go ahead
to the mid-eastern Keric Colony. ------------------------------------------------
8. Keric Colony [KRIC] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Rendalf, Ylenne
Go to the inn and Ylenne will part from you with her nanny. No item
shops here, so just stay at the inn if you need recovery and then leave to
the northern caves.
Х NOTICE!: There's an arguing couple in one of the houses. This could be
a sidequest where you have to give them some mood pills or something, I
don't know.
Х NOTICE!: There's some boy in a house begging for food that has a chest he
will cuss you out for opening. I think this contributes to the play
points you are rewarded at the end of the game.
Х NOTICE!: There's a woman in this town in need of curing. Dunno what to
bring her. ------------------------------------------------
9. Perdor Cave [PDRC] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Rendalf
Hey, check it out; Ylenne seems to have, yet again, found her way out of
your party! ...punk. Anyway, like all the other caves so far, you'll
notice it has way more paths than anyone feels like dealing with.
Even better is that you are trapped with no way to stock up on poison
cure for all the bats that like to poison you! Aren't Astonishia's
playtesters great? Head as far northwest as you can and grab the few chests,
then right to the west side of the uplifted ground, walk against the wall to
find a hidden passage leading to some more chests with items you could sell
for a lot of money... if there were a nearby shop.
Go back to the fork and take the southern route to... hey... another fork.
Doesn't really matter what path you take because they both lead to a
inter-connected room. Just take the left path and you will see a poorly
hidden chest sticking out of the side. Look near the wall west of that chest
and you'll find a hidden passage where a Chain Mail lies.
Head all the way east into a lone room where you can find a double axe for
that weak son of a ...ahem... dwarf Rendalf. Head south to find a huge exit
which will lead to a quite weird cutscene with a cute warez fairy giving
out pirated items. If you say yes and take the items, Mr. SONNORi will take
away 70% of your HP and you'll lose the items. Say "No" for a (much
neccessary) free 500 EXP from Mr. SONNORi for not being a pirate and
proving yourself as a True Gamer(Might also get you some play points).
Whatever you chose, you can now leave, and have access to the Renzas Area!
Since they've conviniently blocked off everything else, go ahead and head
to Renzas, and grab the [Hella Ghetto Armor] hidden in the forestry below.
------------------------------------------------ 10. Renzas Village [RNZS]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Rendalf
Since this village is about to get destroyed, go ahead and loot the
people's houses for whatever you want... oh... I wasn't suppposed to say
that... crap. Too late now, eh?
You can talk to the villagers to see what they have to say(like the
ironically coupled "Nolenne/Zoyd") and pick up on the local rumour.
Whenever you feel like it, head to to massive house on the eastern side
of the village to meet the great wizard Lezail. Lots of talking then you
are set free to roam around. You can go back to sleep, or:
------------------------------ Sidequest 06: 18+ Only(SQ06)
------------------------------ Leave the room with Lezail and go up the western
stairway for a "Mature Audience"-rated Bath scene with
Ylenne where you learn just how good of a pitch she
turns out to be.
After escaping, you awaken with only 1 hit point. Go back to
the bath to recieve the axe Ylenne was about to kill you with .
Take your leave from Lezail's mansion. Ylenne will stop you and demand
you let her at least follow you outside the village. After stocking up on
whatever you might need(and staying at the inn, if you did the bath scene)
from this town that's about to be destroyed, save and head on out.
As soon as you step outside, the town will be destroyed and you must
head onwards. Go ahead and enjoy Lezail's magic since he's gonna end up
getting killed pretty soon(I told you I was gonna spoil everything).
Since you don't really have any other options, head to the mountain
forest in the easternmost area of the Renzas outskirts.
------------------------------------------------ 11. Covolt Moore Wood [CMWD]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Lezail
As soon as you get into the forest, you will be smacked in the face with
a very long cut scene that delves deeper into the history of Astonishia's
inhabitants and empires, and you get to learn some (not so) interesting
information of the Francis De La Cross you've set out to defeat.
Ylenne lightens up on the Carnation Instant-*** and finally allows
you to sleep in the same tent as her, and you rest up a bit before given
control over the party again. Doesn't seem to be any chests around, so
head east if you don't feel like doing any leveling and you will run
into the Elier girl from the Bluedeep Caves. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(SZIN) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Suzain+ 210 | ---------------------------------
After defeating their small troupe, Akra will run away and you can finish
exploring the forest. Go north and you will arrive in the Abur Plain.
Hey wow... they actually didn't cut you off from the previous areas...
not that there's anything worth going back for. First, head to the tower
to the far east. ------------------------------------------------
12. Mage Academy [MCAD] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Lezail
Talk to anyone you feel like here, then head to the second floor and meet
up with Saimin so he and Lezail can chat for a while. You get to reveal the
secrets and motives of Queen Brimhild and do a lot more talking here, as
well as find out the final destination you're heading for; which is
Fort Ganberg - guarded by three onyxes. You are also gifted with the first
piece of the Legendary Sword; the stone cutter and a potion you can use to
mend it with something you must gain from Hakshiman Island.
Now it's time to head to Midaira Town. Just look for the only town that
has more than kids in it that you have access to.
------------------------------------------------ SIDEQUEST 07: Secret Spells GET! [SQ07]
------------------------------------------------ In the Mage Academy 1st floor, check the blue
painting next to the staircase for some "Helfire" magic, and then
outside. Go all the way south from the Mage Academy until you reach the
end of a long peninsula. Right to your west should be a brown chip. Try to
grab it for "Soul Slap" magic. ------------------------------------------------
13. Midaira Town [MDRA] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Lezail
Before we do anything else, time to get a well needed item. Go to Midaira
Town's item shop and buy the [Dalphyn Shoes]. EQUIP THEM RIGHT NOW, DAMMIT.
Congrats, you no longer walk slow as molasses. While you're here, save
yourself the frustration and buy a [Rope]; you'll see why later.
There are also a LOT of worthwhile equipment upgrades in Midaira, as well
as some nice accessories for that lonely 4th slot all your characters have.
If you've got the cash, some Defense Rings are a VERY good investment.
Now go to the large mansion for another conversaion. You'll get to meet
the village chief Klaff and he'll tell you of some trouble going on at
the neighboring shrine of Saurabi.
Head outside and... lucky for you, the next location is just to the right
of Midaira! ------------------------------------------------
14. Saurabi Shrine [SRBI] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Rudoug
You will rush in and see a warrior with extreme skill devastate the Garolin
ambush that introduces himself as Rudoug the Monk. After introductions, you
see Rudoug's master thrown out of the shrine in a bloody mess. The killer,
Dreadford will emerge with a familiar face accompanying him and some elven
warriors. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(DRDF) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Dreadford+ 410 | ---------------------------------
Although you seem to have done the job, Rudoug's master sacrifices himself
to save you, and Dreadford, being somewhat of an honorable Knight, withdraws
his forces. Master Carrahan's last wishes are that Rudoug takes care of the
Aldred Crystal, emotional moment, yadayadayada...
After all the talking, Rudoug joins your party, and it's back to Midaira.
------------------------------------------------ 15. Midaira Town Revisited [MDR2]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Lezail
As soon as you return, it's in the middle of an announcement of an attack
on Midaira and the actions Klaff plans to take against them. Of the people
that volunteer to accompany you, Klaff's own son, and master of the sword,
Hataik, volunteers to come along, and is given a massive blade to use in
his mission to aid you.
Grab some equipment for Hataik and Rudoug, and load up on all the magic
potions you can afford... then leave Midaira and head across the bridge
to the small village of Daria. ------------------------------------------------
16. Daria Village [DRIA] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Hataik,
Lezail
There's not really much here yet except a bunch of people complaining, so
go ahead and head straight for the Village Chief Matteon's house.
Turns out the village was ambushed and a lot of the people will either
slain or kidnapped... and guess who has to deal with all of this!
Go back downstairs and look near the painting on the eastern wall to find
a secret passage leading behind Daria Village. After a short cave, you
will be back on the overworld and have access to a mountain cave. Enter.
------------------------------------------------ 17. Mt. Dacalph Cave [MDCV]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Hataik
When you near the cave, it turns out the entrance is too small for
some people to fit, so you must leave some party members behind.
There's lots of treasures littered around, grab whatever you feel you
need while you gain Ylenne and Hataik some level ups.
Take the northern entrance to the next room first, and grab whatever
treasure you can, then take the lower one for a battle.
--------------------------------- |BOSS(KCLF) HP(Est.)|
|-------------------------------| |Knuckalf+ 435 |
--------------------------------- At Knuckalf's dying word, he cast a curse
on Hataik, then you get the key to free Daria's residents. Grab the few
treasure chests, talk to the prisoners and you will be sent outside of
the cave. Go back to Daria. ------------------------------------------------
18. Daria Village Revisited [DRA2] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Hataik,
Lezail
Talk to the Village Chief and he will thank you and give you a luck ring.
Talk to the villagers to get your thanks, stock up on items, and then
head out to the western cave you could not enter earlier.
------------------------------------------------ 19. The Sanctuary of the Magic Crest [CRST]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Hataik, Lezail
As soon as you enter, you meet up with Dreadford, Akra and a new foe,
Herzo. You walked right into a trap and Lezail gets turned into stone,
then a boss fight. ---------------------------------
|BOSS(AKRB) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Akra+ 265 | ---------------------------------
The battle turns out to be a scheme to grab the Statuette of Relka,
and Herzo escapes with it while Akra casts a powerful summon spell.
Through a heroic attempt, however, you retrieve the Aldred Crystal,
yet still have the summoned beast to deal with, and the Crystal is
unable to control it! ---------------------------------
|BOSS(DRGN) HP(Est.)| |-------------------------------|
|Red Dragon Chrydaron 2150 | ---------------------------------
As soon as you have weakened Chrydaron, you take sympathy for the injured
Akra and escape to the underground catacomb. ------------------------------------------------
20. Mt. Ssleithurm Catacomb [CTCB] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Akra,
Hataik, Lezail
Awesome, you finally get to have 3 pages of party members! Enjoy it
while it lasts. What better way than recovering from a strenous dragon
battle than to be slapped right in a 4-way dungeon split... yeah,
you'll be down here for a while, hope you didn't quaff all your magic
potions just yet!
Go left and you will be hit by a LONG, WINDING ONE-WAY PATH. Walk against
the walls when you get to the outermost right side to find a hidden path
for a Magic Potion. Continue to the middle of the path to find..
*drum roll*
A PB&J Lunch Box! Yes... that's right... all that BS and annoying battles
for the absolute weakest healing item in the entire world of Astonishia.
Okay, I had my fun... go ahead and walk your way back out of that winding
mess, back to the 4 way intersection.
Head south and grab the chests for some Flame Boots, then northeast for
some other useless garbage you can sell for Astonishia's well-overpriced
equipment. When you are ready to progress, go to the largest opening to
the southeast part of the catacombs for a brief cutscene with a little
character development between your small legion. Now you can progress
to... the second floor(oh. joy.).
The path is straightforward from here so keep going until you hit
another 4-way intersection. Head east first and grab the Salamander's
Tongue for a nice damage bonus. Just in case you haven't been doing so,
since we're stuck in this place for so long, this is an excellent
opportunity to level up at least to 15/16 so you can see all Hataik's
cool attacks since he's getting ready to ditch you guys in a little bit.
Go back to the intersection and go south for some more goods and
frustration from the high encounter rate, then back to the intersection
and to the west for another overly-lengthy path leading to another
staircase in this labyrinth. Keep onward and watch as your magic potions
vanish as you progress... and we see LIGHT! We're out of this hellhole.
Save, rejoice, call friends over to celebrate, etc.
------------------------------------------------ 21. Covolt Moore Wood 2 [CVMW]
|PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Akra, Hataik, Lezail
Hey, wait a sec... this isn't the overworld at all...!!! Hope you saved :)
Right off the back, as soon as you exit, you are ambushed!
--------------------------------- |BOSS(HRZO) HP(Est.)|
|-------------------------------| |General Herzo+ 380 |
--------------------------------- After you wipe out more of the super stuck-up
elven warriors, there's some more bickering between your party and Akra
and then you are given control again. Now would be a good time to save, since
that boss battle was pretty damn sudden. Head one screen east and another
north to finally return to the safety of the overworld... and now back
to Midaira one. more. time! ------------------------------------------------
22. Midaira Town Banquet [MDR3] ------------------------------------------------
------- |PARTY: Lloyd, Ylenne, Rendalf, Rudoug, Akra,
Hataik, Lezail
You will instantly appear in the house of Chief Klaff and surrender the
Aldred Crystal. For such a brilliantly executed mission, Chief Klaff has
a banquet arranged to reward you for your efforts.
You get a huge congratulation ceremony, then escape off to a lone pond with
Ylenne for something of a love interest scene. Wait... who's that in the
background? It's Akra... things could get interesti... oh.. aww, the
screen faded. Oh well... it's morning again, and now you are minus one
Hataik and anything you might have equipped him with. Life's tough, bud.
You now learn that your next destination is the southern areas, in which
the warrior who dealt the finishing blow to a wild dragon has now become
afraid to cross(this sure does have a lot of character development for
an SRPG >_
