The Hobbit(s) & Me
That's Me
Me it's Pepite, 28 years old french woman
and at present in New Zealand for a one year travel.
Difficult to describe my best memorie of Middle Earth given that they are many.
The first one takes place in the complete darkness.
I'm in a crowded cinema, looking at the screen and I'm amazed,
dicovering Tolkien's universe through the Peter Jackson's cinematographic work of art :
" The Lord Of The Rings "
Since that day, Middle Earth and all of its inhabitants come into my life.
Following that, I keep many memorable souvenirs,
from the sleepless nights watching integral of the films with friends
to the fulls days devouring Tolkien's books.
Now if I want to describe the most intense,
I would choose this day wich I go to Hobbiton, near Matamata.
Within a few hours I leave the reality,
I savor every minute as if the Earth doesn't exist anymore,
as if the Middle Earth has always been everthing.
Does this make me a Hobbit's fan ? YES
And I'm indeed in New Zealand for the people's lifestyle, warm and authentic,
and for it's breathtaking landscapes wich masterly immerse me in Middle Earth.
Discovering some locations of both trilogies is exceptionnal
and it's for me a huge pleasure to soon watch the last chapter in its country of origin.
If I have the opportunity to watch the finale with Peter Jackson and some members of the film crew
as well as to go in inaccessible locations, my travel will be total and totally unforgettable.
So, why I'm the biggest fan of The Hobbit ?
Because I make this video at almost 19 000 km from my home place,
between 4 backpackers,
and with the sole equipment of : sheets of white paper, scissors and one pen.
Is that not an excellent evidence ?!
