Hi I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village and we are making a tuxedo pillow that we are
just dieing to finish. We are so close to the finish line, let me tell you I can almost
feel it. Well we have our tuxedo pillow and we are going to turn it inside out and get
ready to add the batting. But you don't want to get too ahead of yourself because what
did I say before? I said what is really really important sewing is the ironing. Not only
just sewing itself. So when you turn that fabric inside out you always want to make
sure you have your point. You have to make a point and this point though this has four
points. What you want to do is take your scissors, you take your scissors and make sure they
are close. Okay! Now open scissors and you very very gently cause you don't want to poke
a hole in your fabric. You just really want that nice crisp corner and the scissors would
let you do that. Then all you do if it is kind of sticking in there you take a pen and
very very gently kind of ease the rest of it out. Okay. So ease the rest of it out and
then before you are finishing I want you to iron this one more time. It is going to give
it a really really crisp look that you are going to see in just a brief moment. Really
do that on both sides because you are going to look at a pillow by both sides and you
really want there to be a really crisped edge. When we come back we are going to put that
batting in and finally add that all important satin ribbon that adds to the tuxedo pillow.
So don't go away we are almost done.
