hi guys it's time for another steelbook review
and today I'm reviewing the steelbook of Leon
just show you that I am a big fan of Leon I brought my
1/6 Enterbay Leon figure out again just to show you.
and yeah that's how much a fan I am and that's the reason
I got the steelbook because I do already own the Blu ray itself
different distributors this is and optimum
home entertainment release and this is the studio canal release
I think though even though it's got different menus
at the start the menu is different I think it's the same transfer
I've been looking at both versions to see if there's any improvement
but I really can't see any but to be honest I think
the transfer itself was pretty good anyway
region B only English subtitles English audio only 5.1
dts-hd Master Audio
but I got it obviously for the steelbook
I'm really pleased with it there is no
debossing or embossing on the title or anything like that it's
a no frills steelbook that has to be said
probably a debossed Leon would have been nice but
I like the fact that there's no border on it
I think that would have ruined it and I really to
love the way the face pops out this silvery
type image of the face
really does look nice and the image is kind of a
high-definition image
A lot of steelbooks can look quite dull and I think that's a fantastic front cover
personally myself
There's the spine
and
the back is a bit disappointing. I know it's got his moto no women, no kids
that's the rules
and there's just an image of Leon
but it is disappointing because Matilda is quite a prominent character in the movie
and the fact she's not featuring anywhere on the steelbook
i think is a mistake and it would have been nice to have had
like an image of her on the back at least
Here is the inside
The inside image
and it's black and white but it does
stand out it is not that dull and
it looks pretty good. I think it's a really nice steelbook. I definitely
would recommend it to any Leon fan. It's definitely worth an upgrade
from the
standard amaray case
I'm pleased I picked it up. I'll catch you later
