Hey, what's up everybody? Um, I've got my mama with me today. This is Katherine. And
she's *gonna* help us learn some irregular verbs in English. Vamos a estudiar en esta
leccion los verbos...it's really messy because I wrote it while Jerry's driving, pero vamos
a...vamos a unos ejemplos de estos verbos irregulares en ingles. Son los que empi...Son
los que empiezan con la letra B. Ok. So, let's get started Mama. What we're going to do is
we're going to take these irregular verbs and we're just *gonna* *kinda* make sentences
out of them, natural sentences. So, when did you begin farming? Ok. I began farming when
I was probably six years old. Perfect! Let's...I'm gonna repeat it so they can hear that same
example again. So, we'll do each example two times. Ok. Alright? When did you begin farming?
I began farming when I was about six years old. Perfect. So, what did you bring with
you today? We went shopping today and I'm going to ask Mama what did she bring with
her. What did you bring with you? I brought my purse with me today. Alright. One more
time. What did you bring with you? I brought my purse with me today. Perfect. What did
you buy today? I bought a new sofa. Yeah. What did you buy today? I bought a new sofa.
What did...ok, hold on. Did you break anything today? I don't think I broke anything today.
Did you break anything today? I don't think I broke anything today. Um, BUILD? Let me
think for an example [with] BUILD. Do you have one? You *wanna* ask me a question with
build. Did you build anything new today? I didn't build anything new today. I haven't
built anything new today. BUILT in the past tense, I don't have an example. Um...Like...
She built a house last year. Yeah, she built a house last year. BLOW. BLOW. You always
blow your front porch off with the blower. I'll ask you with HAVE. Have you blown your
front porch off today? No, I haven't blown my front porch off today. Did you blow your
front porch off yesterday? Yes, I blew my front porch off yesterday. Alright, let's
do that again. Have you blown your... I've got to think about it. Have you blown your
front porch off today? No, I haven't blown my front porch off today. Did you blow your
front porch off yesterday? No...Yes, see I've got to think about it. Yes, I blew my front
porch off yesterday. Alright and the last one y'all BECOME, BECAME, and BECOME. BECOME.
Did you become annoyed with me today? Yes, I did become annoyed with you today. Did you
become annoyed with me today? Did I? Ahuh. I did become annoyed with you today. You did?
Do you know what you just did? She used the um...she used DID in a way to stress. She
didn't just say, "I became annoyed with you today." She said, "Yes, I did become annoyed
with you today." Do you see how that's different? I do. I see it. I didn't think about it, but
I see it. Yeah. I can't remember the name of it, but we use DO and DID, you know, the
past tense of DO...usamos DO y DID para poner mas enfasis en los que estamos diciendo y
lo que mi mama acabo de decir es que...she said, "Yes, I did become annoyed with you
today." O sea que SI! Que mucho! That's cool! It starts with an E but I can't remember what
it's called. Alright, thank you Mama. You're welcome. These were the B, the verbs...irregular
verbs that start with the letter B. Alright, tell them to subscribe. Say, "Suscribanse."
Suscribanse. Muah!
