SHOCKING Video Discovered Of Trump From 1999 Saying What He Would Do To North Korea
During President Trump’s time in office, one of the biggest threats this nation has
faced has been from the country of North Korea.
If you follow the news at all you know that the tiny dictatorship has been threatening
to do it’s best to deliver total annihilation to the United States, via it’s newly minted
nuclear program.
This isn’t a new threat and North Korea has been a problem for a very long time.
So long that way before President Trump started his political career, people were asking the
question; how do you solve a problem like a Kim?
In fact, they asked that question to a younger, but still highly successful, Donald Trump
in the year 1999.
His answer then turned out to be exactly what he did once in office, and what has brought
the current North Korean Dictator, Kim Jong-un to the negotiating table:
That strategy is what brought about this release during a White House Briefing.
The delegation from South Korea was happy to inform the world that their neighbors to
the north are finally ready to negotiate a possible denuclearization program:
“White House Stake Out
7:11 P.M. EST
CHUNG: Good evening.
Today, I had the privilege of briefing President Trump on my recent visit to Pyongyang, North
Korea.
I’d like to thank President Trump, the Vice President, and his wonderful national security
team, including my close friend, General McMaster.
I explained to President Trump that his leadership and his maximum pressure policy, together
with international solidarity, brought us to this juncture.
I expressed President Moon Jae-in’s personal gratitude for President Trump’s leadership.
I told President Trump that, in our meeting, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said he is
committed to denuclearization.
Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests.
He understands that the routine joint military exercises between the Republic of Korea and
the United States must continue.
And he expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.
President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong-un by May to achieve
permanent denuclearization. The Republic of Korea, along with the United States, Japan,
and our many partners around the world remain fully and resolutely committed to the complete
denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Along with President Trump, we are optimistic about continuing a diplomatic process to test
the possibility of a peaceful resolution.
The Republic of Korea, the United States, and our partners stand together in insisting
that we not repeat the mistakes of the past, and that the pressure will continue until
North Korea matches its words with concrete actions.
Thank you”This is a feat that most people never thought that the Trump Administration
would be able to accomplish.
In fact, many of his critics in Washington, on both sides of the aisle, accused the political
outsider with not having the diplomacy to accomplish something of this magnitude.
The news reports constantly equated President Trump with the petulant and unpredictable
Kim Jong-un, accusing them of being two peas in a pod, as it were.
But as it turns out, none of the politically experienced and suave diplomats from the United
States, South Korea or any of the other threated countries were able to achieve what the Trump
Administration was. This success was a combination of staunch resolution and the physical removal
of support for the dependent nation.
President Trump’s sanctions and the pressure he put on other countries to cease doing business
with North Korea put the country in a tough situation.
Even North Korean fan Dennis Rodman agreed in an interview with ABC News that this is
the best possible solution to the impending violence that North Korea was threatening:
“Former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who has traveled several times to North Korea and
is one of the few Americans to have met its leader, is praising President Donald Trump
for planning a summit with Kim Jong Un.
Rodman tells The Associated Press he looks forward to returning to the pariah nation
for ‘basketball diplomacy’ in the coming months.
He says: ‘Well done, President Trump.
You’re on the way to a historical meeting no U.S. president has ever done.’
Rodman adds, ‘Please send my regards to Marshal Kim Jong Un and his family.’
Rodman was speaking by phone soon after the planned summit was announced in Washington
— a major surprise after a year of rising tensions over North Korea’s nuclear weapons.”
It turns out that President Trump’s unwavering style of negotiation was exactly what the
doctor ordered to deal with a problem that has been generations in the making.
The United States isn’t out of the woods yet, and the President addressed that in a
tweet saying that “Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement
is reached.
Meeting being planned!”
