Tiki Barber: Hi, this is Tiki Barber.
Rick Fox: Hi, I'm Rick Fox.
Carl Weathers: Hi, I'm Carl Weathers.
Scott Porter: Hi, I'm Scott Porter and you're watching the Mother Nature Network.
Tiki Barber: We preach green over at NBC Universal, but personally I do a lot. Whenever I'm traveling,
I always try to get a green car for a rental. I'm on the board of the National Forest Foundation
and one of our big initiatives is to partner with StubHub, people selling tickets, et cetera,
and a percentage of that goes to planting trees. So anything we can do to help offset
the carbon uptake in our country is very important, and I think being a face and being someone
who's influential, it's good for me to do.
An easy one? Turn the water off when you brush your teeth. It's simple. Tell your kids to
do it, and then uh, they'll start to do and hopefully they'll tell somebody else and it
trickles down.
Rick Fox: Hi, I'm Rick Fox, this is my daughter Sasha and her friend Maya. And our tip of
the day is ... [Sasha: Oh, turning your lights off!] Turn 'em off when you leave the house.
Carl Weathers: Hi, I'm Carl Weathers and my green tip is: when you walk out of a room,
turn off the lights. When you go back in the room, you can always turn them back on. So,
turn off the lights.
Scott Porter: Hi, this is Scott Porter. My green tip is: stop wasting money on bottles
of water. It's cleaner and healthier for you, and it's better for the environment.
