Hey everybody this is Liam from Inventory Full and were playing Voltz version 2.0.4
and I think its been out for about a week mmm well let's say two weeks. And a fair amount
has change, the wiki is still OK to use I'm sure it will update pretty quickly. But I
had a little bit of a learning curve getting back into it and because I''m trying to develope
a game mode for my friends to play where we just basically build bases and try to nuke
eachother, go for an objective, uh, we needed kind of a a tutorial. A guide that would make
sure were all on the same page. We know what the most efficient route to things is so nobody
is suck, nobody has to research while were beating the *** out of eachother. So thats
what this i going to be this is basically guide 1, this is getting yourself established.
And so obviously the first thing you need is shelter, and we've taken care of food.
And thats the most important thing. Step 2 is going mining and thats where things start
to get a little more confusing. What am I looking for essentially is what you want to
know, what am I building and so we've got ourselves a shelter. Pretty basic I decorated
the floor a little bit with what wood I had. We've got ourselves some Furnaces, a bed,
and a chest. Now we've already done this, we've optimized it, and thats what we're going
to show you here. How do we get started? Well here's what you need. This is your shopping
list. The top row are thing you need a minimum of. So these are exact things. We need 49
osmium ingots. We need 20 iron ingots. We need 26 redstone. One gold ore, not smelted.
6 gold ingots and 2 glass. And then you need some variable things. These ones can change
depending on how you're tending to build it. Obviously the wool, and copper here is used
for copper wire. So you may need more or less depending on where you end up putting things.
This is a fairly decent amount. You need a bit of coal for your smelting purposes. And
some cobblestone. And thats it! This is your shopping list to get started. When I say get
started, what I mean is, we want to have efficient mining. and if you've come from a tekkit background
you know that that means a macerator. You need to get two ore for every single ore just
to make sure you're getting as much as you can out of it without having to back to the
mine every other day. Second thing we need is power, third thing is efficient smelting.
Because these things are pretty slow and Ive got three of them set up here just to make
sure I know what I'm doing and everything is going quick. So where do we start. Well
we got our food, got a little wheat farm out there so at least thats taken care of. I'm
all full up. So next step is we are going to build ourselves a metalurgic infuser. And
the way were going to do that is were going to start off with 8 osmium, were going to
get ourselves 6 iron bars, were going to get 2 redstone, and i think i need a couple of
furnaces. So lets build those first. Two, good. Thats done. So lets stick this back
in here for now. Ok so, metalurgic infuser is this guy, so we got a couple of things
in here. First important thing to know is you'll see that these circuits are flashing,
which means you can use either. Theres a basic circuit and a controll circuit. The basic
circuit takes four copper wire, 4 redstone, and a bronze plate. Which requires 4 bronze,
and to make bronze you need tin, and honestly its a pain. This is the controll circuit.
its four osmium and an enriched alloy. Which is way cheaper, way simpler, so anytime theres
an option to go between a basic and a control circuit youre going to be using the control
circuit. and thats what this shopping guide is for. So to make this, we already have our
osmium ingots and thats just osmium ore and you smelt it, the enriched alloy. theres a
couple ways to make it, essentially you
need
enriched iron.
