Hi, this is Dan again with Clean Guru. Today I want to talk about why I think that spontaneity,
being spontaneous is not very important when it comes to running your cleaning business.
Just like, remember when we talked about creativity. We talked about why creativity is overrated
when it comes to marketing. Do you remember this? We talked about how being creative,
getting a moment of inspiration when it comes to putting together your marketing, that's
not nearly as important as having a plan. Like using the marking principles such as,
social proof, sense of urgency, and fear of loss. Those are marking principles and marketing
techniques like, creating a powerful, specific, and compelling headline guarantee call to
action. Those things are much more important than creativity. While today, we'll want to
today the same thing with spontaneity or being spontaneous. Why it's much more important
to learn how to delight your customers and put that in place than it is that it is that
delight be spontaneous. It doesn't have to spontaneous. That's right, the good news is
whether or not it was spontaneous that you did these things for your customer, that doesn't
matter much to your customers. The very fact that you do it is the important thing. They'll
still feel the delight that you did it. So when it comes to things like remember we talked
about Noticeable Cleaning reminders? Things like putting out a flower vase on the front
lobby counter once a month, you know from your friends at the cleaning company, a little
note. Maybe a little bowl of mints on the break room counter, from your friends at the
cleaning company. In the office maybe when you sanitize the phones, your phone has been
sanitized by your friends at the cleaning company. A birthday card, a personal note,
all these kinds of things that you can do that will delight your customer are more important
that they get done and that you plan it so planned spontaneity. It may seem like the
opposite, but you'll want to do that. It's not so important that it came about you just
all of a sudden and it was spontaneous. You don't want to leave something as delighting
your prospects and delighting and impressing your clients up to something as fragile as
being spontaneous. Something to think about. Hope that helps you, hope it helps your cleaning
