On this new Biofire boiler, the first point is the compactness of the boiler
with regards to the delivered power,
and the second point is the fuel feeding system up to the combustion chamber.
We have integrated 2 feeding screws.
The wood fuel arrives in the intermediate stockroom
where the 2 screws start from, which then lead towards the combustion chamber.
This assures the same amount of wood fuel arriving in the combustion chamber,
which is not the case with only 1 screw.
Furthermore, preheating is provided by a 2-zone grate boiler:
a first zone which has a determinate feeding speed,
and a second zone with a different feeding speed.
The main advantage of this is that we maintain very high efficiency and very clean combustion.
The boiler will then clog less and pollute less.
The main technological innovation of this boiler is clearly the possibility
to modulate the fuel feeding speed into the burning chamber,
so that it is always as dry as possible,
whatever its initial humidity.
