Izumo-Yokota station, located at Okuizumo Town in Shimane Prefecture, Japan, is a station of JR Kisuki line.
This station was opened on 20th November, 1934, and has a daily ridership of 170 passengers in 2009.

Izumo-Yokota station has a distinguishing shrine-style building, which has been since 1934.
The area in front of the train station has been renovated. There are some schools, shops, inns, and town branch office around the parking plaza.
There is an old cylindrical post on the right of the station.
There is a statue of Japanese mythology goddess Kushi-inada-hime whose husband Susa-no-ono-mikoto fights against Yamata-no-orochi(Eight-Forked Serpent).
It is said that she was born around Izumo-Yokota. She is enshrined in the Inada Shrine about 2km southeast of the station.
This mechanical semaphore signal was placed in 1997 in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of being available along the entire Kisuki line.
The admirable sacred straw ropes and shrine-style building are reminiscent of the lzumo Taisha shrine.
The number of trains for Shinji is 10, while the number of trains for isolated Bingo-Ochiai is only 4.

Okuisumo Town is one of Japan's two mejor abacus production areas (the other is Ono City in Hyogo Prefecture). The Unshu abacus is designated as a traditional handicraft.
