GS: Lets talk about the current drum clinic tour with Mike Terrana you are opening. How's this experience?
Zeka: The idea of this tour with Mike happened while we were at the Musikmesse.
Our drummer Marcelo Moreira started talking to him about it,
so from April until now they discussed every detail and decided to book eighteen dates.
With this set, Diego and I from Symbolica decided to play on nine of those dates,
opening the show and promoting our album. We started in Bento Gonçaves, where people loved
they asked a lot of questions about our album and video clips and together with that we also talked
about doing some shows around the area and several other things.
GS: What do you do exactly on these clinics?
Diego: We play songs from our debut album - Precession, released in June last year.
These songs are performed with the help of a backing track of vocals, bass and drums.
Since our show is relatively short we don't have much time to talk, so after we play
people come to us and ask about equipment, recording, personnel, studio and things like this.
Like Zeka said before, this opportunity is good because opens doors and we can start talking
with people from smaller cities that a lot of times don't know much about our band.
They've already seen one or two video clips, but we can talk about many more things.
GS: You recently released a new video clip. What can you tell us about it?
Zeka: The video was release two weeks ago.
We filmed at Serra do Rio do Rastro and Canion do Funil - an idea that I particularity had since I was a child, when I started to learn guitar.
I would travel by those places and think about how cool it would be to do a video.
We were able to make it real with Symbolica and in about one week the video was viewed more than ten thousand times - a think it is a good number.
Jeff Dutra from Soul Productions worked with us on this project and looking at the video statistics more than eighty
or ninety countries have played the video.
GS: With the video out and the clinics happening what are the plans from now on?
Diego: Well, we're looking into some partnerships with a few companies.
This series of clinics is helping with this. We already started the pre-production for our next album
and are planning some concert dates in Brazil for this year.
We gotta keep moving forward.
