I wanted to focus on these unethical behaviors that serve to help the organization.
So things such as lying to help your boss or lying to help your organization and lying
about products or services...
...this new type of unethical behavior and we call it "unenthical pro-organizational
behavior." So, again, unethical behaviors enacted to benefit the organization.
There's not a direct relationship between organizational identification, or how identified
you are with your organization, and these unethical pro-organizational behaviors. So,
it's not directly related, but we did find it is related via a third variable.
So what we found is that if you perceive as an individual, if you believe that you need
to reciprocate what other people do for you, then you're more likely to do these unethical
behaviors...to help the organization, in response to being high in organizational identification.
