Re-tubing a behind the ear hearing aid.
You'll need a pair of scissors
additional piece of new tube
and possibly something
to open the tube up with to put on the hearing aid.
First of all
remove the original tube from the hearing aid
and remove it from the mould as such.
With the new piece of tube
slide it in the back of the mould
and pull it through
with a nice ninety degree angle
at the end of the mould.
With your scissors
just trim the end of the tube
And then with the other piece of tubing we have removed from the mould
measure up
and cut to length accordingly
On occasions you may need to open
the top of the tube.
Slide the hearing aid
onto the tube.
And there we have a
newly re-tubed hearing aid.
