Hi I'm Jason with Expert Village.com. Today we're making a polished rock charm for a necklace.
We've drilled the holes, beveled them. We've talked about the shape and kind of got an
idea of what we want to do with the rock. And we've put our cutting bit in. We're going
to use this on low speed and I'm going to go over the whole entire thing without really
cutting too much of it away first. And then I'm going to work on the shape a little bit
as, and see what happens after the first layers kind of grind down a little bit. So, we're
going to go over that really smooth, really light with the bit on the rock. Keep the bigger
part of the rock in front of the blade. You get a, this way, it's going to slip out of
your hands. If you get the blade balance off. So keep it in mind that you've got to keep
the more, the most of the rock in your hand and keep the bit down here. So I'll demonstrate
this a little bit and we'll talk about it a little bit more in the next step.
