GLEN: When people think of Detroit, if you're not thinking about the automotive industry...
You're thinking of the Motown sound of course.
This is Hitsville USA here in Detroit, Michigan.
This is history. And it all started with $800 that Berry Gordy got from his family to start this empire.
Berry Gordy founded great acts such as the Jackson 5, The Temptations,
The Four Tops, The Supremes.
Many of the great legendary acts have stepped foot on this ground.
CHOZ: Ah yeah! Look at that!
STEVE: Hey what's up everybody? We're in Michigan right now.
We're going on the Ford Factory Tour. It's going to be pretty cool.
Never been out in this part of the woods, but I think it's gonna be kind of like a first
experience for the both of us. For Choz and I.
So yeah... I'm excited.
CHOZ: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!
NO! MY WEINERMOBILE!
(Steve laughs in the background)
CHOZ: I would do something like this...
CHOZ: Ssup Michigan?
(audience cheers)
STEVE: Without further delay, we're going to show you the film. Please enjoy it.
CHOZ: HIBAKUSHA.
STEVE: HIBAKUSHA. Here we go.
(audience applauds)
This movie was very eye opening, and it evoked a lot of emotions that I didn't know that I had about Hiroshima.
And it kind of makes me really frustrated that the American education system
does not even touch on this.
I learned about how bad the Hiroshima attack was.
And it was very dark, but very thoughtful at the same time.
And it just made me think about a lot.
It was actually very inspirational. It was so dramatic and very tense.
I loved the art style and animation of the entire movie, and it was really touching and
heartfelt just to see her side of the story.
And see how she was affected, her family, and I really appreciate that.
And I really wish that they can visit more schools and even come out to my university some time.
So I really enjoyed it.
