Alana & Toby were married at Tamborine Gardens, a venue which features a gorgeous timber chapel
and gardens that can only be described as immaculate. The Staff at Tamborine Gardens
are very experienced. The wedding directors take an active role in events on the wedding
day ensuring that deadlines are kept and their high level of service maintained.
Something I really loved about Alana and Toby was their organised yet relaxed approach to
the wedding day. It was very clear that the details would be very important to them. From
the ornate table settings through to the vintage corner which featured wedding photos from
other family members, there was a lot of personalisation to document.
When Toby and Alana attended their pre-wedding couple shoot, which is a complimentary inclusion
to all of our Brisbane and gold coast wedding photography packages, we discussed and role
played key moments of the wedding day. Providing comprehensive education is the best way for
wedding photographers to ensure that their subjects remain confident and natural in wedding
portraits. The normally cool under fire Toby seemed to
be feeling the pressure of the day. The experience of celebrant Robert Simmons helped to calm
his nerves and his groomsman ensured that he was presentable to those assembled to witness
the service. Strolling the grounds with the bridal party
I photographed a range of images. My goal during this time is to blend the candid with
the epic to capture a sense of romance and atmosphere.
The
reception is always my favourite time of the wedding day. People are relaxed and the party
aspect of the day begins to assert itself. As I stay until the end of the reception as
a standard inclusion to our Brisbane wedding photography packages, I am able to document
events as they actually happen. From the couple's reaction to speeches, the
first dance, the cutting of the cake and bouquet and garter toss, staying to the end of reception
provides my wedding couples with a diverse collection of wedding portraits.
