My name is Tim Strange, im from north central Texas. I own and operate an automotive reconditioning
business. I decided that another heavy hitting service such as Paintless Dent Repair is something
that my business could benefit from. I performed an extensive online search to find the best
training facility that I could and Rightlook.com rose above the rest. I really enjoyed Greg
as the trainer, he took a tough love approach to training but at the same time he really
cared about us and he cared about the quality of our work. The time we were able to spend
with our trainer was really extensive. If we had a question, he was there. I really
couldn’t have had a better experience as far as one-on-one aspect of the training was
concerned at all. The first couple of days, you’re opening
your eyes to a completely new and unique repair technique but once I grasped the visual part
of what it was he was trying to get us to accomplish. I really kind of took off and
I enjoyed that. They did the best that they could to recreate real life situations for
us, he certainly didn’t make it easy by any means. He gradually worked us to a level
of confidence on the practice hood and on the practice door panels and as soon as we
got fairly confident in what we were doing, he set the bar higher, kind of broke us down
to build us back up. Then we gradually moved into working on real vehicles.
We actually had 2 vehicles in the shop at the same time. It was an enormous experience
and it’s probably something that I wouldn’t have got anywhere else. You have to sit, you
have to focus, your access point become extremely important at that point in time when you’re
working on a vehicle. Probably the biggest highlight in the training was to see a high
line car arrive to the training center and have Garrett and Greg demonstrate their professional
ability and to watch them do what they do, and do it best on a high line car and interact
with the customer because the customer stood and watched the entire process. They were
very professional and gave us insight as to how we need to be when we’re out on the
road too. I really feel confident that I’ll be able to go home and kind of cherry pick
my dealerships for work that I feel like I’ll be able to accomplish and sell and sell it
well. In fact, I have an employee on ground right now writing up dents and he’s got
a few approved so we should go back home with a few in the shop by the end of next week.
